Logistics and Store Executive Responsibilities

Logistics Management

The Job

Job Description

• Operate the power plant according to procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems

Job Requirements

• Possess at least a Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline
• Relevant competency certificate as issued by the Singapore regulatory authority, or education leading to this will be advantageous
• At least 6 years of working experience in Power Station Operations (ideally on a CCPP)
• Ideally involved in the technical and maintenance aspects of Gas Turbines, with some experience in the erection, commissioning and initial start-up phases of a modern Power Station
• Knowledgeable and experienced in Health, Safety and Environmental practices
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and on 12-hour rotating shifts
• Transport provided at Jurong East MRT station

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning of project works schedules and controlling the costs of the project.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports to be submitted to the Manager.
• Resource planning such as manpower, material and equipment for the project.
• Liaise with clients on-site on work matters.
• Check shop drawings from the Design Department and from the clients to eliminate any problems on site construction.
• Troubleshoot problems on-site in order to ensure delays are minimized and additional costs reduced.
• Provide technical and practical support to supervisors and foremen to assist them in the construction process.
• Preliminary design of temporary elements for site use or for tender purposes.
• Wastage and productivity control on site.
• Ensure compliance with Company's IMS process and procedures.
• Ensure OSH risk assessment and EMS impact & aspect register are conducted and implemented in company operations.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrumentation and Control Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position based at our customer's site, requiring a strong understanding of control systems and proven troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Handle and maintain control-related systems, including PLC instrumentation, LSS, FAS, and SCADA LoT.
• Perform effective troubleshooting of control system issues.
• Contribute to system improvements and optimization.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Control Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in handling PLC instrumentation, LSS, FAS, and SCADA LoT.
• Proven troubleshooting skills within control systems.
• Experience with programming languages such as Tableau, Visual Studio, Python, and SQL is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of site contractors;
• Monitor job progress and ensure that civil contracted works meets all practical, commercial, requirements of productivity, quality and contract target completions;
• Ensure all Structural work is carried out within established budgets and schedules;
• Ensure all design work conforms to the codes and standards used by the client, or to agreed industry standards.
• Implement and oversee site projects assigned to ensure smooth project execution
• Manage internal and external contractors well to ensure quality of work and scope of work is within specifications.
• To coordinate with subcontractors/suppliers to execute contract works.
• Responsible for all inspection activities being carried out.
• Assist in planning, schedule and technical support to PM.
