Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager - HR Operations and Business Partnering to manage end-to-end HR operations and provide strategic business partnering for Singapore, Vietnam, and China. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR practices and labor laws in Vietnam and China and will ensure compliance while driving HR initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations:
- Manage and oversee HR operations across Singapore, Vietnam, and China, ensuring the efficient delivery of HR services and processes.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in Singapore, Vietnam and China, and assisting to update policies as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to standardize processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports to provide insights and support decision-making by HR Senior Manager.
2. Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and support recruitment efforts across all covered regions.
- Support the implementation of strategies to attract and retain top talent, including competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Oversee onboarding and integration processes for new employees to ensure a seamless experience.
3. Employee Engagement and Performance Management:
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance management, including goal setting, reviews, and employee development plans.
4. Learning and Development:
- Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills, productivity, and overall organizational capability.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and development initiatives tailored to regional needs.
5. Business Partnering:
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR Senior Manager, HR team and other team members providing HR insights and recommendations to support business objectives.
- Partner with HR Senior Manager and leadership teams to address workforce planning, organizational design, and other strategic HR needs.
6. Employee Relations:
- Handle employee grievances and workplace conflicts, ensuring fair and effective resolution in compliance with local laws and company policies.
- Foster a culture of trust and collaboration through proactive communication and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide support and guidance to HR and Admin team members on administrative and HR duties
7. HR Digitization
- Lead the implementation of Darwinbox in Vietnam and China, ensuring smooth adoption and utilization of the platform.
- Oversee the rollout of additional Darwinbox modules in Singapore that have not yet been implemented, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize HR systems to enhance efficiency and user experience across regions.
8. Administrative Duties
- Provide support and guidance to the administrative team on end-to-end travel management, office management, pantry management, and other related areas.
Ensure efficient coordination and management of office resources and facilities to support business operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in HR with strong focus in HR Business Partnering and end- to- end HR Operations
- Prior experience in managing HR operations in Vietnam and China.
- In-depth knowledge of labour laws and regulations in Vietnam and China is compulsory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in HR software and systems especially Darwinbox
