The Project team is currently looking for a suitable candidate to join us as a Project Engineer (Electrical) to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage multiple engineering projects from conceptual development to handover, within budget, deliver on time, safety alertness and the required quality.
• Able to prioritize tasks and assign manpower to ensure that the overall resources are used effectively and within project deadlines.
• Assist to prepare bid tender for new projects and ensure project compliance with company policy and guideline.
• Evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope budget or timeline of a project.
• Lead the most complex or critical engineering projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
• Identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Select, guide and develop a team of project member with operational responsibilities to ensure that the organization achieves it business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Ensure that organization and government standards on safety are met and ensure customer safety & quality specifications are consistently met.
• Allocate capital and human resources to maximize productivity and supervise and implement project expense, other assets and resource within budget.
• Analyze and approve project investments that best meet the organization needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Professional Qualifications in Related Field of studies.
• Possess 2 to 5 years relevant experience in the Construction Engineering industry.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with project members and managers at all levels.

Candidates with relevant experience may be offered Senior Project Engineer role.

This is an onsite role that forms part of a larger global IT Team, focused on customer satisfaction for the end users we support, our employees. Within the role you will be utilizing your extensive knowledge of both Windows and macOS, leveraging your previous experience and existing skills in end-user support. This is an extremely fast-paced environment so you need to be highly organized, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and enjoy working with end-users daily.

What you will be doing

• Procure, configure, deploy, and support desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices
• Manage user accounts, security groups, mailing lists, and application access according to SOPs
• Handle service requests, troubleshoot and resolve issues in a thorough, timely and professional manner for on-site and remote users
• Maintain detailed documentation, change records, and inventory
• Support and maintain audio/visual and VoIP software and devices
• Understand, troubleshoot, and set up printers

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS
• 5 years of IT helpdesk experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent work experience
• Be able to do physical work, multi-task, and pivot on tasks
• Administration experience in Google Workspace, Okta, Zoom, Slack, Druva, Microsoft 365 Apps Admin Center, or the equivalent would be an added advantage
• Understanding of basic networking protocols and security concepts such as WiFi, DNS, DHCP, SSL, VPN, and encryption
• Ability to clearly explain IT concepts to both technical and non-technical users
• Experience with supporting VoIP and audio/visual systems
• Willing and able to work in a team and comfortable working independently
• High energy and passion for your work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Mobile Device and Endpoint Management: MS InTune, Kandji
• Experience in ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system
• Experience with endpoint protection
• Knowledge of Asset Lifecycle Management

Key Responsibilities:

• Professional Deployment and Services: Execute and manage the implementation and upgrading of cybersecurity solutions distributed by the company. Occasionally coordinate with customers and manage project timelines.
• Customized Solutions: Develop and recommend tailored solutions or alternatives to meet specific customer requirements.
• Product Training: Deliver training sessions on company products for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Installation and Configuration: Perform independent installation and configuration tasks by following product manuals and guidelines.
• Skill Development and Certification: Continuously enhance technical skills by acquiring certifications relevant to the products or technologies managed.
• Domain Expertise: Build subject matter expertise to facilitate knowledge transfer and skill-sharing with the maintenance team, improving customer support capabilities.
• Technical Support: Collaborate with sales and support teams to address technical challenges, including product feature explanations, implementation planning, tender compliance, and ad-hoc technical queries.

• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in IT, Information Security, or Cybersecurity is preferred. Entry-level candidates may be considered for an Associate Engineer position.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with technology infrastructures, including but not limited to:Firewalls, VPNs, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web Proxies, DNS, Email Security, Log Management, SIEM
  Virtualization, Containers, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  DevOps/DevSecOps, Privileged Account Security, Identity Access Management, Endpoint Security, and CyberArk Conjur
  
• Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving network and system issues, including:Routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Active Directory (AD), LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, SSH
  
• Cybersecurity Awareness: Demonstrate a keen interest in staying informed about cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
• Certifications (Preferred): Possession of certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE/CCSM, Thales, CyberArk CDE, Trellix, ArcSight ESM/Logger, ITOM, SailPoint, CISSP, CREST, or OSCP is advantageous.
• Programming Proficiency: Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash scripting, and PowerShell is a plus.
• Compliance: Adhere to company Information Security Standards.
