Key Responsibilities

• In charge of overall supervision for Milling & Patching team
• Decision making for equipment and team allocation
• Build a diverse team with different talents and responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

· Manage and oversee the entire operation

• Act as a point of contact between shipping lines, terminal operators, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movements, shipping schedules, and operational metrics for reporting purposes.
• Assist in the allocation of resources, including labor and equipment, to optimize operational productivity.
• Identify operational challenges and collaborate with teams to develop and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations within port operations.
• Assist in managing inventory levels of supplies and equipment necessary for port operations.

Responsibilities

Production

• Supervise and coordinate production personnel, ensuring production schedules, output targets, and quality products are achieved timely.
• Plan team activities to achieve production requirements with minimal disruption.
• Efficiently and safely manage process hand-overs.
• Develop, revise, and review SOPs for routine production activities.
• Lead team training and development to function as a professional unit.
• Ensure detailed and accurate process documentation for each shift.
• Manage notifications, problem resolutions, and production investigations, particularly process deviations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and facility maintenance.

• Support in planning and controlling the budget, identifying department needs for materials and human resources.

• Maintain adequate consumable levels and coordinate with warehouse and procurement for sourcing.

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management in sterile filling or pharma/biopharma environment.

Job duties:

• Liaise with Landlord on work permit application
• Support vendor and service delivery
• Maintain and support facilities by collaborating with contractors and vendors in adherence to all rules and regulations.
• Proactively attend to complaints or abnomalities and resolve the issues timely.
• Working closely with appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to manage all fire safety matters of premises. Attend to all fire alarm activations and facility issues, identifying the cause with follow up reporting on a timely manner.
• Carry out routine inspection to look out for defects and mechanical & electrical faults. Coordinate or administer works to ensure all faults and defects are attended to and rectified.
• Maintain proper administration and documentation to support all maintenance activities and projects.
• Attend to facilities maintenance within Singapore office.

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience in facility management or related fields is preferred.
• Diploma in Facilities Maintenance and or Engineering or equivalent.
• Certified Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.
• A hands-on person who has knowledge of basic handyman work (eg. changing of lightings, troubleshooting electrical appliances, putting up of festive decorations, housekeeping etc.) and enthusiasm to be on the ground.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with contractors/ vendors, as well as all office staff.
