Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled ELK Stack Specialist with expertise in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana/Grafana to join our team. The candidate will play a pivotal role in managing, optimizing, and maintaining ELK-based logging and monitoring solutions. A strong understanding of cloud platforms, containerization, and DevOps practices is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Elasticsearch Expertise: Understand Elasticsearch architecture, indexing, querying, and cluster management. Perform performance tuning, scaling, and cluster optimization.

Logstash & Data Transformation: Configure Logstash pipelines and handle various input, filter, and output plugins. Manage data transformation, ingestion, and ETL processes.

Visualization & Monitoring: Create insightful dashboards using Grafana and Kibana. Utilize query languages for advanced data analysis and visualization.

Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Python, Java, or similar languages. Work on system monitoring, troubleshooting, and custom automation tasks.

Application Development: Work with Java, Spring Boot, JPA, MySQL/Postgres DB, and frontend frameworks (Angular/ReactJS). Contribute to application optimization and scalability.

System Administration: Manage Linux/Windows environments and troubleshoot containerized/cloud-based applications. Monitor and resolve ELK stack issues, providing detailed insights.

Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. Explain technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with the ELK stack and Grafana dashboards in the banking industry.
• Familiarity with Agile/Waterfall methodologies (ITIL, Scrum).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in JSON, data formats, and scripting languages like Python/Java.
• Experience with cloud and containerized services such as AWS, PCF, OpenShift, etc.
• Hands-on knowledge of Linux/Windows and containerized application management.

Certifications:

Elasticsearch or related technology certifications are a plus.

Role:

Maintain and enhance IT applications which includes implementing new enhancements to the applications, troubleshoot live issues to identify causes of the problems and providing workable solution to fix the issues.

Redevelop the existing e-services to cloud infrastructure and meet security (ALAS) requirements.

Perform design, programming, integration, system testing, assist users in User Acceptance Test (UAT), and documentation.

Generate unit tests and end-to-end test scripts using Azure technologies.

Troubleshoot, identify, solve issues and develop automated test cases to prevent similar issues.

See through all enhancements and fixes to ensure they are properly deployed to the testing and live environment within the agreed time. That includes working with the end users, server administrators, database administrators and the system analysts supporting the IT systems.

Experience and skills requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Infocomm Technology. Computer or Electronics Engineering or related discipline.

Must have minimum 3 years of working experience in this role and good experience in the following skills/technologies:

Frontend

JSP, JavaScript, Jquery, AJAX/JSON, ReactJS

Backend
