Executive Coordination and Vendor Management

• Lead the selection, negotiation, and management of contracts with key suppliers and vendors, including handling, catering, fuel, and other critical operational services.

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with international and domestic aviation safety regulations.

Budget and Cost Control

• Develop and oversee the operations budget, ensuring that all functions operate within budgetary constraints.
• Conduct regular financial reviews to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality or safety.
• Monitor expenditure on vendors and service providers, ensuring that financial objectives are met.

Team Leadership and Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational excellence.

Crisis Management and Problem Resolution

• Act as the point of escalation for operational challenges, resolving issues related to trip disruptions, client concerns, or vendor service failures.

• Lead emergency response coordination in the event of operational crises.

Reporting and Performance Metrics

• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operations, trip support, vendor performance, and client satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports to the executive leadership team on operational performance, including recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure that data analytics are used effectively to enhance decision-making and operational efficiencies.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Office-based with occasional site visits as required.

• Must have proven track record of managing an operations department which includes multiple ICAO registries including an AOC.

Job Description

1. Operations

• Oversee daily activities of multiple restaurants to ensure smooth and efficient operations in both front & back of house.
• Drive operational excellence, training, and compliance
• Ensure adherence to the service quality, staff performance, overall guests’ satisfaction, ambiance & value as well as relevant regulatory requirements
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure operational standards, cleanliness, and functionality are maintained & compliance across restaurants
• Implement SOP and all other operational procedures
• Monitor all restaurants, ensuring adequate resources at any given times, address and resolve operational issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to service
• Responsible for development, day-to-day direction and coaching for the Operations Team. Ensure performance measurements and individual development plans are implemented

2. Brand Building

• Uphold and promote the company’s brand standards across all outlets

3. Cost Management

• Analyse and manage P&L statements to optimize financial performance

• Set and align forthcoming monthly targets for sales turnover, food and labour cost, operating expenses and monitor closely to ensure these targets are met
• Recommend new marketing or operational policies and procedures when necessary to keep up with demand and market changes
• Implement systems for inventory control to reduce waste and improve efficiency

4. People Management

• Hiring, training, and supervising front and back-of-house staff.
• ⁠Scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak times.
• Lead, motivate, and develop restaurant management teams to achieve business objectives
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and create development plans for staff
• Ensure staffing levels meet operational needs while minimizing turnover

5. Compliance, Service & Cleanliness (CSC)

• Ensure all restaurants comply with all company policies, food safety and sanitation regulations

• Provide training and updates to staff on food safety protocols and best practices, safety training and emergency preparedness plans for all employees
• Respond promptly to any food safety concerns or incidents to safeguard customers and the brand
• Enforce compliance with workplace safety policies and local regulations
• Maintain records of safety incidents and implement preventive measures to reduce risks
• Review and ensure outlets’ restaurant visitation scorings are maintained at required standards

6. Business Strategic Projects

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend prospective markets, new products, or services.
• Recommend refurbishment plan and/or remodelling of the restaurants’ image and physical appearance and overall ambience in-line with brands’ needs and industry direction.

Job Title: Manager, Merchandise Operations

Reporting into: Sr. Director, Omnichannel Merchandise Planning & Wholesale Operations

Location: Singapore

Primary Purpose: The Merchandise Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all business processes, operations, and data management that support the Tapestry Asia wholesale and direct merchandising business channels. Business process includes supervising all operations relating to seasonal buy and wholesale markets including showroom/sample management, guest relations, third-party vendors, and not-for sale product management. Data management including maintaining vendor master data, SLAs, and reporting in compliance to and internal and external standards.

The successful individual will be responsible for:

Showroom Management

• Manage key project milestones in conjunction with seasonal line opening schedule.
• Liaise and own end to end sample ordering process with Global Showroom, Global Merchandising, and Product Development team in NY.
• Coordinate and manage all relationships with third party vendor and suppliers such as venue landlords, catering & event planning, and design companies.
• Maintain samples library with clear systems and process in place for tracking.

Wholesale Market

• Support wholesale market process prep by liaising with product merchandising, global merchandising, VM and sales team on key product launches and ensure smooth market week activities.
• Manage the daily operations during seasonal wholesale markets of showroom space and appointments.
• Manage all NuORDER portals are up to date with latest product information for wholesale accounts and trouble shoot with internal data analytics and IT teams or any missing data.

Master Data Management

• Manage all customer and product master data updates and hierarchy changes to all systems (SAP, NuORDER, LMS, ecVision)
• Support wholesale account and distributors POS (Point of Sale) portal maintenance and working with account management to resolve any issues (ediCom).
• Publish and maintain seasonal Master SKU List publication for all product data

Not-For-Sale Product Management

• Own end to end ordering process for packaging and uniforms with suppliers including payment process
• Process bi-weekly Not For Sale (NFS) orders for wholesale accounts, coordinating with accounts services and logistics teams. Products includes packaging, uniforms, VM, marketing collaterals (GWP and PR samples).
