Summary:
To assist General Manger and coordinate business between departments and serve concurrently as Supervisor of self-inspections of internal control system, Supervisor of AML/CFT, Compliance Contact Officer to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Taiwan Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) and the Head Office, Internal Ethics Officer, and personnel officer of the Branch.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and guide banking staff in their day-to-day operations and tasks.
2. Understand newly enacted, modified, or amended banking policies, regulations, or procedures, and educate staffs to follow through.
3. Host the Assets and Liabilities Committee to
(1) decide the investment and funding strategy,
(2) monitoring of Market, interest rate and other risks,
(3) ensuring compliance with the Company's risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
4. Oversee the Bank operations in compliance with regulations of MAS, FSC, and Head Office.
5. Check and release SWIFT and MEPS payments.
6. Report to and communicate with Head Office.
7. Coordinate with Head Office auditors and external auditors to complete annual audits.
8. Develop and expand the Bank’s business.
9. Monitor and achieve the Bank’s targets which set up from Head Office.
10. Monitor the branches’ records and statements to be properly handled and maintained.
11. Manage and prepare documents request from Head Office, FSC, or MAS.
12. Ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. A recognized bachelor’s degree in finance / risk management and other financial analytical related field.
2. Minimum 15 years of experience in banking industry, the experiences shall include Treasury and Finance, Operations, Corporate Banking, Compliance, and Internal Auditing.
3. Minimum 10 years of experiences in Fixed Income and OTC derivatives products, with experience in Interest Rate Risk management, e.g. Interest rate swaps, FX swaps.
4. Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Familiar with Singapore laws and MAS regulations.
7. Fluent in both English and Mandarin to understand laws and banking regulations in both Taiwan and Singapore, liaison with Head Office in Taiwan, and communicate with vast majority customers and relative Banking Supervisory Authorities.
