• More than 10 years (for L4) track record in analysing requirements and tracking delivery of global/regional IT capabilities for a bank or multi-national/regional company

• Experience in banking industry preferred

• Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery

• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders

• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills

Role: Actimize System Analyst

Job Objectives

● To lead and deliver AML SAM Actimize upgrade into Production according to the SDM policies

● To provide reliable and timely system analysis and support for AML Transaction monitoring system upgrade

● To provide reliable leadership and support during System Integration Testing and UAT phases.

● To manage and resolve Audit and Security findings timely

● To identify early and escalate critical delivery showstopper with proper context timely and to propose viable solutions or workarounds where possible

Key Responsibilities

● Perform analysis on Business Requirement and document proposed solution in Functional specification and estimate required effort

● AML Transaction monitoring system Design, Development and Unit Testing

● Review and contribute to test planning for SIT and UAT

● Manage and work with vendor teams to successfully deliver upgrade of SAM v9.0 for AML systems

● Manage and work with stakeholders during all phases of system delivery

● Coordinate and plan with Infra and change management teams for application deployment activities in Devops environment.

● Setup and maintain application Infrastructure in Unix, Windows and Oracle environment

● Effect system changes into test and production environments by following application change implementation process via

● the Bitbucket, Jenkins and Aldon change management tools

● Conduct technical delivery/process knowledge and best practices sharing/training sessions with internal teams to raise team’s competency level.

Key Requirements

● At least 6 years of AML system enhancements for Transaction Monitoring delivery experience in the banking industry

● Hands on experience in design and configurations/development work on AML-Actimize application (RCM, SAM, AIS)

● Experience in leading, with good results, design gathering and design workshops with users as part of upgrade or defects fixes work

● Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL design and development skills

● Hands on experience in data mapping from source to target systems

● Proven and strong vendor management capability

● Good application design and Operational impact awareness

● More than 9 years of total IT industry experience

● Good communication skills and experienced in MS-Excel and PowerPoint presentations

● Able to collaborate and lead the system analysis as an individual contributor

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Cost Control Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial reports and management reporting for Singapore, as well as maintaining and executing financial controls in compliance with Company policies, Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Cost Control Manager, in this position, you will have opportunities to acquire skills and knowledge in the following areas:

Cost Control

• Monitor, evaluate and analyse all Principal expenses with the aim of reducing costs and achieve savings;
• Standardization and consistency of cost reporting;
• Ensure timely approval of operational vendor expenses;
• Verify principal costs debited against the provisional expenses reported and justify the variances;
• Address queries from Principal timely;
• Ensure various monthly suspense accounts are reconciled following the timelines given by the Principal;
• Study related Principal incomes (land and logistics) and ensure maximization in terms of billings, collections and margins;
• Ensure that waivers of principal incomes (land and logistics) are properly approved and reduced where possible;
• Collaborate across functions and departments for compliant internal controls and effective costs and risks mitigation;
• Related tasks as assigned;
• Involve in vendor selection/evaluation process for Principal expenses.

Reporting and Deliverables to Management

• Prepare and/or compile various monthly suspense accounts reconciliation Report, including Electronic Cost Reporting ("ECR") correctly and in a timely manner;
• Prepare monthly Agency KPI data as assigned;
• Prepare Principal cost analysis and monthly analysis report to management and Regional Office;
• Proactively identify potential risks and mitigate risks with the relevant Head of Departments (HODs) and / or process owners;
• Work closely with internal / external auditors, tax agent and local authorities to resolve any local issues raised;
• Ensure proper audit trails for records according to statutory requirements.

Systems and Process Improvement

• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to drive improvements and resolutions in end-to-end Cost Control processes;
• Identify system / process misalignments to drive standardization and improvement, raise request and follow-through to closure with System support;

Performance Management and Individual Development

• Develop performance measurements to drive individual and team performance;
• Serve as a coach/ mentor and provide technical financial advice and knowledge to the Cost Control team;
• Demonstrate commitment to professional self-development to employees in the Cost Control team;
• Identify and initiate improvement areas and develop good accounting control procedures and best practices to enhance overall cost control operations, work quality and efficiency;
• Support Cost Controller/ Cost Control Manager, Senior FM and Chief Financial Officer in new initiatives or projects as and when required.

Who We Are Looking For

• Min Degree in Accountancy / Finance, ACCA or Professional Accounting qualification equivalent;
• Minimum 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience in maintaining and executing accounting controls and reporting;
• Minimum 3 to 5 years from shipping industry / Liner or Agency shipping experience, managing related cost control and reporting an added advantage;
• Experienced in managing changes and thrive in dealing with challenging business environment;
• Good knowledge of IFRS and SFRS accounting standards;
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint;
• Experienced in using SAP financial system and related data flow;
• High level of Integrity and Ethics;
• Team player;
• Organised and meticulous with an eye for details;
• Problem Solving / Analytical skills;
• Ability to manage time well to meet tight deadlines and multi-task;
