AHPC Registered Physiotherapist required for a busy, multidisciplinary clinic
based in Singapore’s CBD area.

The applicant should be highly motivated and willing to work the necessary
hours suitable for a busy private clinic. The candidate will be expected to market
themselves within the local area and build a consistent patient list. The
applicant must be able to integrate within the team of practitioners and be
happy to involve themselves in patient discussions, practice meetings as well
as other ongoing activities that promote themselves and the clinic.

Candidates will enjoy a relaxed and friendly working environment amongst
other highly skilled professionals from a variety of backgrounds. Regular CPD
sessions and training are available and continued personal skill and knowledge
development are expected.

The candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of post-graduate experience
with previous private practice experience preferred but not essential.
Applicants must be competent in treating a range of musculoskeletal conditions
including, sports injuries, pre-and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation, and workplace originated problems.

We are seeking experienced Physiotherapists who are passionate about working in the community in the following areas: Paediatric Rehabilitation (Early Intervention Programme, Continuing Therapy), Adult Rehabilitation and Community-Based Rehabilitation (Day Care Centres, Day Rehabilitation Centres and Nursing Homes).

You will join a dynamic team of Allied Health Professionals to provide a wide range of services to our partners in the community sector. You will be required to assess and identify the needs of individual clients so that appropriate rehabilitative treatment may be provided.

You will work with clients on a one-to-one or group basis based on the level of function and severity of the disability of the clients. You may also be involved in conducting public education/outreach in certain programmes.

Additionally, you will need to keep abreast of the latest research and developments on physiotherapy and be involved in networking with hospitals and other community organisations. Senior Physiotherapists will be expected to take on supervisory and administrative roles in addition to clinical work.

Requirement

• Masters or Degree in Physiotherapy or its equivalent (preferably recognised by the Allied Health Professional Council in Singapore).
• Eligible for registration as Physiotherapist under the Allied Health Professions Act 2011 in Singapore.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants for the position of Senior Physiotherapist should have at least 5 years of relevant working experience, including one year of clinical supervision to practicing Physiotherapists.
• Experience in management and multi-agency collaboration will be an advantage for Senior Physiotherapist position.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to provide professional and quality geriatric and neurological physiotherapy/occupational therapy to patients.
• Provide physiotherapy rehab within the Senior Care Centre
• Conduct group and individual activity for day care clients
• Document patient physiotherapy records accurately
• Have knowledge of therapy treatment for a wide range of injuries and conditions across all gender
• Assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy independently and implement appropriate treatment plans

Job Requirements:

• Singaporeans Only
• Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy (Full registration with AHPC)
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting, or relevant
• 3 working days per week (weekdays ONLY) [8am-5pm]
• Convertible to Full time position
