In your day to day, you will

• Attend, participate, and provide support at client events, meetings, media sessions, and brainstorming sessions as require

Requirements:

- Able to speak, read and write in English & Mandarin

- Experience in construction trade

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for China Group’s financial reporting including monthly reporting and quarterly consolidation reporting, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow projections, internal controls, taxation and treasury management, as well as various ad-hoc financial reports for internal management and to support SGX reporting, investor relations and investment activities
• Maintain full set of company accounts within the China Group as well as wider Group
• Issue and prepare Debit notes, Credit Notes, Intercompany reconcilations
• Oversees the transactions processing of China Group to ensure compliance with Group’s accounting, SOP and internal controls policies
• Oversees joint development projects of China to protect the financial interests of the Group as the investor
• Liaise with China team and external consultants (if necessary) to ensure that the relevant regulatory, legal, corporate secretarial, compliance matters are adhered to and report back to the Board of Directors and Legal Representative of the Group and companies
• Ensure that the financial records of the Group and companies are in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards as well as local accounting policies in China
• Financial stewardship and safeguarding the assets of the Group and ensure proper accountability of significant profit & loss items
• Establish and streamline financial and business processes to achieve effective and efficient workflow
• Be an effective business partner to operations team in interpreting financial information and budgetary variances so as to support business decisions to improve profitability
• Oversees the procurement activities of the Group and companies to ensure that proper controls are in place and be involved in commercial negotiations
• Liaise with auditors, bankers, lawyers and tax advisors
• Any Corporate ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• University Degree majoring in Accounting, Business and Finance with CPA or CA qualifications
• Must have good command of both English and Chinese, both written and oral
• Resourceful and able to handle multiple tasks and be a team player
