Role Purpose

We are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join our Singapore Insurance office. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing the option to work remotely up to two days a week. You will support the Property underwriting team in managing new and existing business written by Everest International Insurance. Key Accountabilities

• Support the Property underwriters in achieving portfolio targets, including assisting with the Japan desk.

Job Descriptions :

- Handle all incoming and outgoing mails and courier packages

- Provide administrative support to directors, audit, accounts and corporate secretary departments

- Print audited and unaudited financial statements and tax documents and co-ordinate for the signing of the financial statements and tax documents and follow through till completion

- Handle confidential information and update of company client listing

- Prepare resignation letters, professional clearance letters, appointment letters and consent to act

- Update monthly currency rates and extraction of membership for clubs

- Prepare invoices and credit notes

- Monitor outstanding accounts receivables and liaise with clients for the settlement of overdue accounts

- Record the bank receipts for internal companies and do monthly bank receipts reconciliation

- Co-late all the invoices on monthly basis and key into UBS accounting system

- Handle petty cash claims

- Attend to all incoming calls and enquires and walk-in clients and guests

- Purchase and replenish of office refreshments, pantry items and office stationeries

- Maintain the operation of photocopier and order of printing supplies

- Reconcile and allocate of courier expenses on monthly basis

- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Your Role: A Day in the Life of an Intern

Job Duties

• Respond to all general inquiries and/or direct the queries to appropriate managers or staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the reception area; Ensure the reading materials (i.e. newspapers, magazines and company brochures etc.) are up-to-date and displayed in a neat and orderly manner
• Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages
• Answer all incoming calls with the LAIO greeting
• Filter calls and independently take decisions based on the caller and agenda
• Arrange conference room on need basis for internal/external meetings
• Arrange for video conferencing and conference calls in a timely manner
• Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies; Update preferred supplier list on a periodic basis
• Monitor the distribution of office supplies and equipment across departments/teams in an equitable manner
• Coordinate with relevant third parties for timely repair and maintenance of office equipment
• Get quotations from multiple vendors for procurement of consumables, stationery and other office equipment

• To support the Operations Director on various administrative matters
• Sort through incoming documents and forward to the concerned persons

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration or any related fields
• Has at least 3 years of experience in similar role

• Proficient in MS office applications such as Ms Outlook, Word, Excel
• Sensitive with numbers to assist in the checks for invoice received

Job Responsibilities

• Develop CAD from rough sketches/Produce drawings, documentations on electrical design
• Interpret and assist with technical proposals
• Assist FAT system at workshop
• Take initiative to resolve all the challenges encountered during the process of project

Requirements

• Nitec/higher Nitec/Diploma in related field

The Dental Surgery Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Job duties include the preparation of dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. He/She also handles administrative tasks, such as scheduling of appointments and filing dental records.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment,
• Attend to all patients seeking treatments and/or making enquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously,
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room,
• Maintain dental equipments and instruments in good working condition,
• Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment and scheduling of next appointment,
• Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment,
• Send, receive and monitor cases that are sent to the dental laboratory,
• Ensure high standard of infection control.
