The incumbent is required to assist Parfums Christian Dior Singapore PR function on PR activities as part of wider marketing campaigns, as well as provide day-to-day administrative support.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign Activations

• Assist on planning of PR events, including ideation, sourcing, and liaising with vendors and discussion with internal stakeholders to ensure relevancy of activities planned

The Senior Accountant/Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for maintaining day-to-day financial reporting and regulatory compliance needs of our business. The person will work closely with the company's cross-country team, while reporting to head of finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate month end closing and prepare monthly reports including monthly financial statements, cash flow statements and management reporting
• Ensure compliance of financial records and controls with corporate statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of quarterly Singapore GST returns
• Ensure overall good maintenance of accounting books
• Assist in cash flow, credit control, and receivables management
• Work collaboratively with various internal parties across the company's global offices to acquire or provide information needed for analysis, reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Participate with team in liaising with external auditor, tax agents, and external parties for all statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
• Prepare payments by certifying documentation and requesting disbursements
• Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent Professional Qualification (CA Singapore / ACCA / CPA)

• At least 3 years of accounting full set experience with strong working knowledge accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Proficient in Xero & MS office
• Good time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines
• Adaptive, ble to multi-task in a startup-esque environment
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills, and good team player

OVERVIEW

The News Assistant provides support to the show production teams assisting with cutting video, building graphics, basic segment production and guest booking. This role is ideal for candidates looking for entry into a career in journalism and TV news production with a keen interest in business, economics, and financial markets. You will also begin to learn about business and markets and the fundamentals for journalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write basic scripts for TV news
• Research news stories
• Transcribe live interviews
• Build graphics using CNBC’s in-house applications and liaise with the Graphics team for guidance
• Work with video editors to cut videos to match news scripts
• Prepare elements such as video clips, lower-thirds, soundbites etc for show segments
• Efficiently manage the teleprompter for on-air talents during live programming
• Being involved in creation of show segments – share, discuss and/or pitch ideas

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Make sure the quality of housekeeping and laundry services is always superb - we have standards - but it’s down to you to make rooms special and memorable for guests
• Schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms, equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair to meet guest satisfaction when Assistant Executive Housekeeper is absent
• Carry out special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members
• Help guests with their questions and complaints to achieve complete guest satisfaction
• Look smart - wear your uniform with pride
• Build rapport and strong relations with team members and ensure that their performance is effectively managed
• Communicate clearly with Executive Housekeeper on all Housekeeping Department matters
• Assist Executive Housekeeper to conduct daily meetings, routine cleaning programs, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
• Acts on behalf of the Assistant Executive Housekeeper if he/she is absent
• Liaise with different departments when there are Housekeeping matters that involve them
• Appraise appearance, discipline and efficiency of all staff under direct supervision and initiate immediate remedial action if necessary
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods
• Monitor and ensure that Housekeeping personnel provide courteous and prompt services to guests
• Help prepare and monitor the hotel’s annual budget with a focus on increasing profitability
• Monitor and control departmental costs to maximise profitability
• Carry out the special requests from guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and club members

What we need from you

• A minimum qualification in Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism
• At least 3 years of experience in the a supervisory level, including management experience
