Job Responsibilities:

• Handle of full set of accounts.

• In charge of Petty Cash, checking and reimbursement of all claims.
• Handling all bank matters, liaising and work with bank relationship manager.
• Prepare GST reports and submit to IRAS.

Requirements:

• Required language(s): Candidate must be fluent in English and Mandarin, in order to communicate with mandarin speaking members and customers
• Familiar with accounting software is a plus point
• Self-driven and holds a positive learning attitude.
• Meticulous and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee ships’ day-to-day navigation safety and ensure operations in ports, security, pollution prevention and deck maintenance are in compliance with Company’s SQMS.
• Monitor and ensure ships comply with Class, Flag State and Port State regulations, and also comply with ISM, ISPS, MLC and ISO to minimize non-conformity.
• Ensure SQMS continuous compliance with latest update in regulatory requirements.
• Provide ship with the necessary nautical publications and charts.
• Ensure that the ships’ communications, navigation, hold-cleaning equipment, latest BMP equipment and other related equipment are in good condition and establish record keeping related to these equipment, structures and procedures. Conduct random inventory checks during ship visits and submit report and follow up with Master to ensure rectification of same.
• Oversee crew management matters: briefing to Senior Officers, checking wages and invoices, oversee crew changes and ensure compliance with STCW and MLC.
• Provide assistance to Ship Manager/DPA in developing schedule training for safety drills.
• Conduct periodical vessels safety inspections for safe operations, ISM, ISPS, MLC compliance and ensure continuous improvement. Gather and analyze data from ship inspections / audits to monitor trends and develop improvement areas.
• Responsible for tracking near miss, non-conformities, incidents, navigation audits, internal and external inspections, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide support for the rectification of PSC deficiencies, NCs and observation relating to ISM, navigational issues, crew training, drills, etc.
• Carry out evidence collection, data collation and support investigation during accidents / incidents.
• Provide support as per instruction, during emergencies.
• Provide full support to Deputy General Manager – Marine Operations as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime studies or Deck Officer with Chief Officer experience;
• Similar experience of the same position, 2 – 3 years in other dry bulk company;
• Rich experience in navigation;
• Good team player, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Admin cum Account Assistant

$2,400-$3,500

5 working days, 8.30am – 6.00pm

Location: Near Ikea Tampines

Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:

· Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

· Prepare consolidation and entity level management report for monthly, quarterly, and yearly group reporting

• Responsible for monthly CPF contributions, tax clearance/ annual tax filing by working closely with Accountant during annual audit process.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system

· Quarterly GST submission and assist in preparation of annually corporate tax submission

· Long and short-term cash flow projection and monitoring

• Prepare invoicing, debit and credit notes, payments, issuance of cheques/ TT and e-filing duties, bank reconciliation, cashflow statements.

· Prepare letters and emails to remind customers of due payments

· Expenditure variance analysis and monitoring

· Liaison with external auditors pertaining to statutory audit

· Liaison with tax agent on company taxation matters

· Liaise with company secretary, bankers, local authorities, and other relevant parties pertaining to finance and account related matters

• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
• Familiar to MOM rules & regulations is a preferred.
• At least 3 years of human resource and accounting experience is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficient in HR, Payroll or Accounting software/system. (Infotech, E-Retail, MYOB)
• Well verse in English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counter-part.
  Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills to prioritise tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
• Attention to details, possesses positive can-do attitude and willing to learn.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
