Your Career

The Solutions Consultant is the evolution of the traditional Sales Engineering role, aligning how we best serve our customers in understanding their environment, providing solution guidance and ensuring value realization in their investment with Palo Alto Networks.  As a Solutions Consultant you provide technical leadership and expertise and guidance in your customer’s security transformation journey.  You will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure a customer’s key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks.  You evangelize our industry leadership in on-prem, cloud, and security operations services that establish PANW as your customer’s cybersecurity partner of choice.

Your Impact

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building and implementing strategic, technical account plans that target cross-platform solutions.

• Your ability to position, demonstrate and create high level designs across the entire PANW portfolio based on customer business needs

• Conducting discovery to understand and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of your prospects and customers

• Working closely with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions.

• (OT) - Identifying technical stakeholders and cultivating relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications and solutions
• Develop and configure ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and CMDB
• Create and manage workflows, UI policies, business rules, UI actions, and client scripts
• Integrate ServiceNow with external systems via APIs, web services, and other technologies
• Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patching, and system maintenance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the ServiceNow platform
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ServiceNow with other enterprise systems
• Implement ServiceNow best practices for development and administration
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• Degree holder
• At least 8 years of relevant experience
• Strong functional knowledge and implementation experience of ITSM, ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Event Management), ITAM and GRC modules
• Experience with Java Script, Flow Designer, Orderguide
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels in the organisation

Pre-requisites

• At least 2 years of relevant pre-sales experience in system integration.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in system integration and implementation in Web-based and J2EE environment.
• Good knowledge of databases, Object-orientated and web application concepts.
• Proficiency in JSP, Java, Javascript, SQL Web Services, HTML, AJAX, as well as in one or more of the following platforms: Unix, Win NT and Linux.
• Exposure to the following will be preferred:

• Web & Application Servers
• Database Servers
• Business Process Management
• Web Services (e.g. SOAP, WSDL)
• Confident and dynamic self-starter, with a good command of English, excellent customer relationship management and presentation skills.
