· Diploma, LCCI Higher Accounting, ACCA foundation, Finance related discipline

Required Skills

· 3-4 years accounting experience.

· Microsoft Words, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Knowledge of Accounting software

· Experience in bank payment functions would be good.

· Working knowledge /experience in Integrated accounting system. Example: Clube2000.

· Meticulous team player with excellent time management

· Good Interpersonal skills and able to interact with internal departments and with members in a professional and responsive manner.

Job Description

• To assist Finance Manager to handle Company’s accounts, provide administrative & accounting duties to the Finance Department.
• Generating invoices, bank deposits and official receipt.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Handle communications with clients via phone and email
• Manage cheque receipts, petty cash and deposits
• Perform monthly bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly intercompany billings.
• Ensure monthly GST is completed and submitted within dateline.
• Assist with month-end closing.
• Collaboration with internal cross-functions personnel to compile port expenses and resolve issues
• Prepare payments to service providers and agents
• Maintaining file and records.
• Perform basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, processing the mail, etc.
• Assist with financial year end closing, audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies.
• Contribute and/or drive streamlining of processes to improve efficiency and quality of data/reports
• Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as assigned

Job Requirement

• Diploma / Degree / Professional Qualification in Accounting, Business, Management or Finance
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity
• Possess Microsoft office skills – Excel is essential, Words and PowerPoint
• Self-motivated and have a commercially forward-looking mindset
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships
• Meticulous with analytical skills
• Good organisation skills, ability to plan and organise work so that it is efficient and effective
• Possess good attitude and able to work independently as well as being a proactive team member.
• 1 Year of working experience is preferred. Fresh Graduates are welcome. Training will be provided

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will provide comprehensive accounting and administrative services to support our clients' financial needs. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing a diverse portfolio of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for clients
• Preparing and maintaining accurate records, including financial statements, tax computations, and tax filings in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and deadlines
• Assisting clients with tax preparation and addressing any related queries
• Supporting the accounting team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
• Building strong relationships with clients by addressing their financial concerns and providing timely assistance

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
• Proven ability to independently prepare financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax computation and filing, as well as Singapore tax laws and accounting standards
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBook, MYOB, or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling numbers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
