RESPONSIBILITIES

The person will be part of the Volunteer and Community Engagement team in Care Corner to lead and support our volunteer management, volunteer development and community engagement, specifically as part of the SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Tampines, operated by Care Corner Singapore.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Volunteer Management and Development

• Work with team lead and the team to manage and develop volunteers in the town of Tampines and Simei, using our Volunteer Management Framework;
• Resource, Recruit, Retain, Review and sustain a growing community of regular and ad-hoc volunteers in the town of Tampines and Simei;
• Conduct training and workshops for staff and volunteer;
• Lead the onboarding, training and supervision of volunteers;
• Train and develop current and potential volunteer leaders and build a vibrant community of volunteers and a sustainable pool of volunteer leaders, using our Volunteer Leadership Framework;
• Be the liaison person between volunteers, volunteer groups and our service points or town partners;
• Work with Corporates to shape their CSR programmes and engage them as active volunteers in the community;
• Work with school leaders and students to ensure that schools' Values in Action programmes are meaningful and impactful for the community;
• Engage Religious Organisations to activate their volunteers for the community;
• Ensure data integrity and use the Volunteer and Partner Relationship Management System to provide regular and timely reports to management and funders.

Community Engagement

• Meet and engage with corporate and community partners in the town of Tampines and Simei to grow our network of community partners;
• Collaborate with service heads and community partners to identify volunteer opportunities that address community needs;
• Facilitate and broker partnerships among community partners to meet the needs of the community;
• Maintain and keep track of our community assets map;
• Ensure accurate and timely KPI tracking and reporting;
• Support Care Corner's East Region Care Community Network meetings and activities.

General

• Ability to function as an effective individual contributor and team player

Requirements:

JOB SUMMARY

The incumbent will provide active ageing activities, befriending services for vulnerable seniors who require additional social support; and referrals for care services when required. • Ensure all applications and implementations are accordance to all compliances and regulations.
• To draw up event budgets for the committee.
• Track and report on fundraising progress, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• To update the working committee on the progress of the event and project account reporting.
• Manage donor database and ensure timely acknowledgment of gifts, donors tax receipt.
• To recruit and manage volunteers for the fundraising events.
• To assist in ad-hoc assign by manager.

Requirements:

• Experiences in fundraising or a related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and passionate fundraiser.
• Team player and fast learner.

• Assist the Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance and accounting matters.
• Responsible for preparing of payments and closing of accounts every month on time.
• Responsible for monthly bank reconciliation, audit schedules and other reconciliation accounts.
• Responsible for preparing internal and external reports timely and accurately to Management and statutory tax authorities.
• Other ad hoc dept / admin duties as assigned.

• Able to prepare full set of accounts and perform Bookkeeping functions on a monthly, quarterly or yearly basis for different types of companies and businesses
• Able to prepare and compile financial and management reports
• Preparation, submission and filing of GST returns
• Calculation of staff salary and submission of staff CPF monthly
• Having relevant knowledge of corporate and personal tax and handle simple tax computation and able to liaise with IRAS if necessary
• Provide budget for cashflow purposes
• Any other duties/tasks as assigned

• Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
• Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
• Assist in ensuring prompt payments by customers
• Generate sales report and analysis

Requirements:

· Diploma or above holders, Entry level are welcome to apply.

· Have passion and keen interest to build a career in not-for-profit sector.

· Must be comfortable with administrative work and has good communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft office

· Flexible and able to adapt to changes

· Able to work independently

Job Duties:

· Provide full administrative supports to the Manager

· Provide support to the centre operations

· Be ready to take on different tasks assigned
