A Guest Service Executive is responsible for:

• Hosts Primary Responsibility is to coordinate the welcome desk and ensure all guests that enters the outlet are greeted and seated.

• Ensure that all standard procedures, rules, regulations and sequence of service are highly implemented.

The Senior Purchasing Executive plays a crucial role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of the shipyard’s procurement operations. This position is responsible for leading a team of 2–3 purchasing professionals, overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment for newbuilding, conversions, and repair projects, and maintaining a reliable supply chain to support ongoing construction and maintenance activities. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on managing tight budgets, mitigating risks, and ensuring the highest standards of procurement performance.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 2–3 purchasing professionals by setting clear goals, delegating tasks, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
• Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with the shipyard’s objectives. Continuously monitor market trends and industry developments to make informed and cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on key criteria such as quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure a steady and dependable supply of materials and services.
• Negotiating contracts, pricing, conditions, and terms to achieve cost savings and meet quality standards. Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Ensure the on-time and cost-efficient procurement of materials and services by placing orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and proactively addressing any issues that arise.
• Maintain adherence to all internal purchasing policies and procedures. Ensure that all procurement transactions are properly authorized, and that documentation is thorough, accurate, and up to date.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams within the shipyard to ensure that the purchasing function supports the overall business goals and communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field.
• 5 ~ 7 years of experience leading a procurement or supply chain management team, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibility.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software, Microsoft Office applications, and SAP systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of payroll functions, including monthly salary processing, CPF contributions, etc.
• Lead in resume sourcing and interview coordination.
• Create and maintain staff records in the HR system. (updated and accurate)
• Submit government claims, such as GPML, CCL, etc.
• Record and monitor employee leave in line with company policies.
• Manage the application and renewal of work permits for foreign workers.
• Submit semi-annual medical examination results of foreign workers to the appropriate authorities.
• Handle renewal processes for work passes.
• Process insurance-related claims efficiently and accurately.
• Keep precise records of employee attendance to support payroll and operations.

Requirements

Intro:

Responsible for a portfolio of clientele which includes Singapore incorporated entities or registered Singapore branch of foreign companies and offshore entities (i.e. Cayman Island and BVI) in areas of compliance to the relevant legislations and regulations as well as procedural advisory work.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

· Assistance in handling full spectrum of corporate secretarial matters for clients under your care and ensure statutory and compliance issues are met

· Preparing necessary documents or supporting work where applicable for company/foreign branch formations/registrations as well as for offshore entities (ie. Cayman Island and BVI) , Board resolutions/meetings, corporate actions documents, etc

· Filing of client entity annual return and financial statements with ACRA as well as lodging changes that required to be updated with ACRA on client entities

· Attend to auditors’ queries on behalf of clients and liaise with them in preparation for statutory audit

· Assistance in assessing work procedures, providing feedbacks/suggestions for improvements and implementing improvement process, where necessary

· Perform certain administration tasks pertaining to the clients or internal procedures

· Handling staff relocation matters for clients

· Responsible for onboarding of new clients, ongoing monitoring and conducting client due diligence checks

· Actively involve beyond the surface follow up on debtor’s management of client outstanding invoices.

What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

· Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) qualification or those pursuing, as well as Diploma in Business Administration/Commerce/Law with a minimum of 6 years relevant corporate secretarial experience

· Experience in handling offshore entities (i.e. Cayman Island and BVI) will be an advantage· Meticulous individual with strong sense of responsibility, pro-active client servicing aptitude and basic commercial acumen
