Responsibilities:

• Lead, support, and evaluate the performance of the accounts payable team.
• Validate data and process various types of vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
• Oversee daily department operations to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Maintain detailed and accurate financial records and client information.
• Compile, analyze, and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Establish and drive the achievement of departmental goals.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Develop standardized processes to enhance internal efficiency, including creating templates for company-wide use.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage.
• Strong planning and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior supervisory experience is an asset.

Job Summary

To provide support to branch services

Functional

• Perform teller duties in branch, including to handle counter transactions in Cash & Cheque - withdrawal/Deposit, issuing of Cashier’s’ Order issue and Auto Financing Payment
• Perform Fixed deposit transactions processing and monitor income, repayments, break costs.
• Perform internal Fund Transfer, FX transactions, cheque book issue
• Customer Account closure and static data update
• To provide counter services to customers and customer’s enquiries
• Verification of Hire Purchase Agreement for HLBB customers
• Provide efficient and customer-focused service to meet customers’ needs and exceed expectations;
• Provide inputs into operation processes and workflows to deliver efficiently and mitigate risk.
• Escalate potential operation issues, provide recommendations and suggestions to the direct manager;
• Responsible to prepare/update operational procedures to reflect changes to policies/regulations and in current practice
• Work as a team to achieve business objectives, performing other duties and functions as assigned for supporting the branch
• Report suspicious transactions to proper channels
• Assist and participate in ad-hoc projects
• To carry out any other duties as directed by Management

Education/ Qualification

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree preferably major in Banking & Finance

Experience

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience in a Banking and Financial Institution.
• Well versed in lending middle office operations as well as familiar with the related front to end workflows essential
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills essential
• Able multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Meticulous, with an eye for detail.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong finance and accounting background
• Knowledge in fixed deposits would be advantageous.
• Some experience in remittance to cross-cover for team members

Salary: $3,200-$4,000

Working Day: Mon to Friday 8am to 5pm

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence emails, letters, statements, documents, and reports
• Draft company's policies, regulations, rules, and supervise the implementation.
• Manage filing and document control for company policies, regulations, SOPs, contracts & agreements, reports, and other administrative documents.
• Possess legal knowledge and liaise with lawyers when required.
• Fully in charges the administration department and manage administrative issues for the company.
• Process administrative work related to government authorities, associations, the company’s head office, customers, and visitors.
• Handle administrative and logistical arrangements for customers and visitors.
• Organize events by coordinating with relevant departments for planning and implementation.
• Collect training requirements from relevant departments, prepare the company training plan, and supervise its implementation.
• Collect and arrange daily and weekly activities for company management.
• Manage vehicles and drivers for the company.
• Provide backup support for colleagues in IT and HR positions.
• Undertake any other ad-hoc tasks and duties as assigned by superiors.
