Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor bakery staff, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure that all products meet the bakery's specifications for taste, appearance, and safety.

Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies. Order ingredients as needed and ensure proper storage and handling practices.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with health and safety regulations, including sanitation standards and proper food handling practices.

Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote bakery products. Participate in customer tastings and events to gather feedback and enhance customer satisfaction.

Cost Control: Monitor production costs and work to minimize waste and maximize profitability without compromising quality.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a baker or pastry chef, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Culinary degree or equivalent experience in baking and pastry arts. Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong leadership and communication abilities. Creative mindset with a passion for innovation in baking. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Description

· Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and annual financial reporting of full set accounts including AP, AR and GL, reconciliation, etc.

· Filing of GST monthly

· Liaise with auditor and tax agent

· Process purchase orders and prepare invoices and/or delivery orders for local and overseas customers

· Liaise with logistics provider on delivery schedule to ensure items are delivered in a timely manner

· Internal coordination with purchasing, sales and warehouse team to track shipment status

· Liaising with transportation and shipping companies to ensure timely shipment clearance

· Ensure proper documentation of damaged/defective items received from suppliers, and follow up with suppliers for claims

· Conduct monthly stock-taking and prepare report of inventory status

· Filing and updating of administrative records

· Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

· Min. 2 years of accounting/audit experience

· Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office, a bonus if proficient with SAP Business One

· Analytical and meticulous

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Perform general storekeeping and warehouse duties.

· Perform physical stock picking, packing and labelling.

· Liaise with courier service or forwarder for collection.

· Control the movement of goods & maintain proper and accurate records of physical stocks against system inventory through regular inventory check.

· Complete Goods Receipt Process ensuring suppliers are sending parts in accordance with documentation.

· Maintain 5S within the warehouse.

· Ensure FOD processes are in place and adhered to in warehouse.

· Assist in effective warehouse layout that accounts for product flow, equipment and product handling systems.

· Follow up with forwarder on the shipment schedule.

· Assist in coordinating general office maintenance.

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
