Job Descriptions:

1. Responsible for preparing the full sets of financial statements for subsidiary companies, ensuring that monthly financial reports and supporting schedules are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.

2. Perform daily accounting and finance duties, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, tax compliance, and bank reconciliations.

3. Prepare monthly cash flow projections, the annual budget, and ad-hoc forecasts.

4. Prepare statutory filings, including financial statements and tax-related documents (corporate tax and GST).

5. Liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit and preparation of audited financial statements.

6. Ensure that internal controls are in place.

7. Any other assignments or duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. A Degree in Accounting with a professional qualification preferred

2. A Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience, preferably in the real estate sector

3. Able to work at least for 1 year contract

4. Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and a high level of integrity

5. Ability to multi-task, handle urgent requests and work in a fast-paced environment

6. Proactive team player with a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, and a "can do" attitude

7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Navision), and Cognos is an advantage

8. Knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

9. Flexible, with an inquisitive mind and a strong willingness to learn and take on new finance-related tasks

Responsiblities

• Responsible for partial set of accounts including but not limited to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
• Prepare month-end closing journal entries and balance sheet schedules and reconciliation.
• Ensure timely, complete and accurate recording of accounting entries into the accounting system.
• Assist with monthly reporting, budget and audit.
• Maintain good documentation and filing system.
• Assist in the review of internal control procedures to improve accounting processes.
• Perform any additional ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in accounting (eg. LCCI, CAT).
• At least 3 years of working experience in the accounting field.
• Required skill(s): MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, dynamic personality.
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure.
• Proactive, possess initiative and able to work independently.
