Job Scope

• Creation of concept, script & storyboard for commercial productions
• Preparation of shoot list independently or in conjunction with videographers
• Manage the requirements of the production, such as cast, crew, location, studio, equipment, logistics and budget.
• Provide creative inputs during the post-production process
• Communicate the vision and requirements of each shot
• Guide talent during the takes on the scene requirements and emotions required
• Video filming for events & commercial productions
• Video editing and post-production using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Digital file management and other admin tasks

About the Role

We are seeking a talented, driven and digitally-savvy supervisor to join the ST Now desk, to guide a team of reporters in creating compelling content for both our digital and print platforms. The team handles breaking and trending news, both locally and globally.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8-10 years in journalism and experience in leading a group of reporters, including assigning and editing copy across a wide range of topics, story types and formats. A candidate with prior on-ground reporting experience is preferred.
