About the Team:
Founded by veterans from Citadel and Jump Trading, the team boasts a unique blend of deep financial acumen and innovative blockchain expertise.
In this pioneering role of Social Media and Community Manager, you will lead the charge in shaping social media presence and community engagement strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow and manage our global crypto community.
- Set and track KPIs for social media and community engagement.
- Oversee and moderate communities on platforms like Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and LinkedIn.
- Enforce community guidelines, manage user issues, and report metrics.
- Create and share compelling content about projects and partnerships.
- Organize community activities such as contests, quests, quizzes, and AMAs.
- Monitor user feedback and engagement, and use social media tools to leverage emerging trends.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and other departments to drive website traffic and awareness.
- Launch and manage influencer and third-party community activities.
- Stay updated on market trends and explore new tools for global community building.
- Maintain relationships with early adopters and brand ambassadors.
- Recruit and onboard new team members for community development in specific regions.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a lead community manager for a web3 company or project on platforms such as Twitter, Telegram, Discord, and LinkedIn.
- Proven success in implementing community building strategies.
- Experience in creating content for various social media platforms.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- (Bonus) Proficiency in additional languages, such as Chinese, Korean, Japanese, or Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage community groups in different regions will be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of the crypto industry and its verticals (DeFi, CeFi, infrastructure, GameFi, etc.).
- Experience in organizing and conducting community activities (contests, quests, quizzes, and AMAs).
- A strong understanding of current web3 trends.
- The ability to explain complex projects to the community in a clear and engaging manner.
- Proven multitasking skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A passion for DeFi, blockchain, and crypto.
- An openness and patience for interacting with individuals from diverse cultures.
