RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engineer in Media Asset Management Support will be providing comprehensive technical services to support the Companys broadcast enterprise systems for workflow orchestration, media asset management and post-production. The engineer will be providing professional services in supporting the system maintenance, operation requirements and implementation of project with alignment to the Companys business strategy. You arerequired tocarry out corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, security patching and remediation for all systems under Media Asset Management Support (MAMS) with minimum supervision. The Engineer is required to perform shift duty and to provide standby support during key events (The Engineer will also need to implement new solutions and manage projects for system under MAMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for Media Asset Management (MAM) systems, post-production systems, workflow orchestration and etc.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify issues and provide resolution with minimum supervision.
• Perform security measure and hardening of system and remediation.
• Perform system administration, configuration, and setup.
• Liaise with different business units to provide technical solutions to enhance operations and system setup.
• Evaluate and recommends new technology.
• Perform shift work and standby duty.

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Info-Technology, Computing or Media.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
• Strong broadcast IT knowledge, well verse in Microsoft server, Microsoft SQL, VMWare, Window OS, Unix, Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu, Cloud knowledge
• Familiar with Networking solution such as Cisco and Arista, Dalet, Baton, Diva, ESB, Vantage, Avid PAM, Avid Media Central, broadcast workflow and production systems and file format
• Relevant experience in supporting, Media Asset Management, Post-Production Systems and/or Workflow Systems will be an advantage

The Department of Statistics and Data Science is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our growing and enthusiastic administrative team. The department was established in 1998 and has been the top department in statistics in Asia for many years. Our mission is to advance research and train students and working adults in the areas of statistics and data science to prepare and upskill them for jobs in academia, government, and industry. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

— Propose best online learning approaches and solutions to lecturers.

— Collaborate with lecturers to design and produce eLearning content that will comprise videos, animation, and other instructional technologies.

— Conceptualise, design, and develop engaging teaching materials with appropriate tasks, learning activities and assessments to meet intended learning objectives.

— Produce effective storyboards to convey idea to stakeholders.

— Support lecturers in the production of high-quality teaching materials, in particular production of videos, from planning stage, to recording to final editing.

— Perform functional testing of eLearning courseware to ensure it meets NUS academic quality.

— Manage and curate the department’s digital teaching materials repository.

— Monitor trends in online learning design and evaluate relevance and usefulness of latest trends to current practices.

— Monitor trends in learning technologies that support online learning and online learning design.

— Undertake additional responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks to support the department.

Qualifications/Requirements/Other Info

• At least a good bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university.

• Good English proficiency.

• Some basic understanding of concepts from statistics and data science is desirable.

• IT savvy, proficient in video editing and MS Office applications, and openness to get acquainted with other software.

• At least 1 year of relevant working experience.

• Energetic, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Good interpersonal skills to engage with lecturers.

- Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus which is subject to incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies.

- The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.
