Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with journalists and/or alone on news content assignments
• Shoot, edit and produce daily news videos
• Use Data Visualisation software and Digital Graphics tools to create tables, and infographics that will accompany news articles
• Search for relevant data and information from various official sources to present with articles published

Job Requirements

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Video Production, Design, Journalism, or any relevant fields
• Effectively bilingual (English/Tamil) to be able to cater to the Tamil Murasu audience
• At least two years of relevant experience
• Ability to plan, set up, light, and prepare audio requirements for shoots
• Solid understanding of shot composition, framing, and storytelling techniques
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects). Knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a plus
• Proficiency with data visualisation and interactive web design platforms
• Creative individual, and a self-starter that initiates and executes innovative content
• Inclination towards visual storytelling and crunching large volumes of data into visual charts, graphics and imagery

• Support the marketing team in developing and implementing marketing plans that includes content creation, distribution and optimisation to engage audiences that effectively elevate our value proposition in establishing connections, relationships and rapport in the customers segments that we serve
• Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for various channels
• Manage 3rd parties content partnerships and agency partners
• Conduct research, evaluate and develop understanding of the subject of interest, landscape, competition etc. in order to define content and engagement opportunities
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of content marketing and social media marketing; harness the power of social to deliver against business outcomes
• Understand the banking awards landscape, including pitching and amplification as well as developing B2B pitchbooks
• Be the centre of excellence for brand stewardship and creative excellence
• Plan and execute customer engagement virtual and physical events, internally and externally
