Based in Singapore, the Senior Manager - Marketing & Communications will report to the Director - Communications & Marketing and play a vital role in integrating brand building messages for Star Alliance. The scope includes marketing campaigns, social media, external communications and alliance-wide employee communications - with the intention to synergize them all.
The Senior Manager will work collaboratively with other managers in the team, and develop, execute and manage the daily marketing & communications remit, critically ensuring the one coherent overarching message is delivered. The role will bridge the marketing & communications team to the management team.
Job Summary
Integrated Marketing Communications:
- Oversee and synergise communications across channels – brand communications, marketing campaigns, social media and PR & Communications
- Align internal (Alliance-wide employee communications) and external (customer facing) communication.
- Identify messaging opportunities at Star HQ events through the year.
Social Media Brand Building:
- Sole ownership of social media brand building, including the relationship with the social media agency for brand building – global and China
Stakeholder Management:
- Be the point of contact for all product managers to discuss communication ideas related to their products and create communication for awareness.
Your Profile
- A minimum of 8 years work experience in Marketing and/or Communications
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Solid marketing fundamentals, including brand strategy and social media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- High level of proficiency in English is essential, as it is the sole language used for communication with Star Alliance Member Airlines and other external stakeholders.
