The day-to-day role of a technical writer includes the following responsibilities.

• Gathering and researching technical information from subject matter experts, relevant external sources, and internal contacts
• Organizing and structuring technical content for end-user consumption, ensuring clarity, easy reading, and accessibility for the target audience
• Writing and editing various types of technical documentation such as user manuals, user documentation, tutorials, user guides, specifications, and instruction manuals
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, software developers, product development teams, product designers, and other stakeholders, to gather necessary information and better understand complex information
• Reviewing and revising documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
• Incorporating visual aids, such as diagrams, screenshots, and illustrations, to enhance the understanding of technical information

What You Bring To The Role

• A Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, technical communications, computer science, information technology, or a related field is beneficial for a senior technical writer
• 5 years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the 3 Years domain or industry
• Previous experience with Workday Finance implementations
• Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading product user and training documentation in English
• Strong knowledge of best technical writing practices, including style guides and industry standards, as well as the technical skills to understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project workflow
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word as well as technical knowledge of to define structured content with predetermined tags
• Proficiency in using graphics editing software and screen capture tools for creating visuals and illustrations is preferred
• Proven writing experience with FAQs, user guides, or manuals in a technical field
• Work experience with version control systems, such as Git, for managing documentation reviews
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software, technologies, and subject matters

Senior Marketing & Communication Executive

Location: Gul Crescent [Company Transport @ Chinese Garden, Lakeside, Boon Lay]
Working Hours: 8.15am - 5.45pm
Working Days: 5 Days [Monday - Friday]

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries through various channels such as email, phone and in person.
• Design and/or edit marketing collaterals (brochure, leaflets etc)
• Oversee library of self-produced and principal supplied brochure, video resources and other Marketing and Sales support materials.
• Conceptualise, plan and execute marketing campaigns; both online and offline
• Handle all activities related to organisation of events (training, product seminars, roadshows, exhibitions – event budget, liaising with vendors, handling, registration, managing exhibition booths etc)
• Maintain website and work with vendor.
• Social media management, review and assist to maximise brand experience and engagement.
• Explore opportunities with different e-commence platforms and partners for collaboration.
• Execution of content creation (videography, photography) and produce product videos.
• Prepare and update price list.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:
