About the role:

We are looking for a new Head of Regional Communications APAC to lead our Communications Hub for Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of international marketing and communications professionals, driving strategy and leadership communication, marketing communication, branding, digital communications, media relations & PR, social media, and employee communications. The Head of Regional Communications APAC at DNV Maritime, reporting to the Global Head of Regional Communications & Brand based in Hamburg, Germany, will be a strategic partner based in our Singapore office. This position will be responsible for all Communications activities across the three Asian Regions: South East Asia, Pacific & India, Greater China and Korea & Japan. The team of the Regional Comms Hub comprises 5 communications and marketing experts based in Singapore, Shanghai, and Busan.

• Crafting and executing a long-term integrated communication strategy for the relevant regions, aligning with the global vision.

Expectations of a Media Planning Intern

• Support the planning team and/or local markets across network (if required) to meet client service needs
• Leverage research tools to provide insights and support on planning as needed

Expectations of a Media Executive/ Performance Media Planner:

Planning:

• Assist the line manager to develop media strategy, channel/ platform recommendations and prepare the detailed media flow-plan for full funnel campaigns
• Leverage available planning tools and liaise with media owners for proposals along with recommended ad formats.
• Engage clients on day-to-day operations, media trend updates and various campaign reports on local/regional/global levels.
• Able to read the data in terms of past performance, benchmarking for upcoming major & tactical campaigns.

Buying:

• Understanding between different funnels & focused on the lower funnel campaign strategies to meet goals like ROAS
• Liaise with digital ad ops (campaign set up on self-serve platforms, tracking & implementation for client’s site, ensure ads are properly served and tags are firing).
• Global ops (adhering and following globally set parameters and campaign execution processes while also guiding others).
• Oversee all performance across channels (Search, Social, Programmatic etc.) & recommend ways to improve performance.
• Closely monitor and optimize performance during campaign period across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, TikTok etc.
• Weekly digital reporting, end of campaign reporting and reconciliation of final costs for finance billings.
