Technician (Facilities)
Responsibilities
- To carry out regular inspections, annual overhaul, servicing and maintenance of equipment and plant ancillaries.
- To assist in the monitoring and replenishment of spares in the store and purchase of essential spares for maintenance work.
- To ensure and maintain proper filling and documentation of administrative, maintenance and service works.
- To ensure safety in all maintenance and service works carried out by staff and contractors.
- To allocate manpower and supervise the staff in carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works.
- Responsible for the proper and efficient operation of gas making plants and its ancillaries.
- Attend to matters relating to production, quality control, storage and distribution of Town Gas from the Gas Works.
- Attend to faults and breakdowns on gas making plants and their ancillaries.
- To perform standby duties after office hours and attend to breakdown calls from supply branch.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Preferably 2 years of relevant working experience in oil and gas. industry.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
