The HR Officer will support the HR team in training administration and general HR operations such as maintaining HR inventory, processing routine administrative requests, and assisting various HR tasks to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the HR department. The HR Officer will play an essential role in supporting employee engagement and development initiatives while ensuring accurate and timely management of HR records, resources, and communications.

Job Responsibilities

Training Administration

• Manage the day-to-day training administration matters, including but not limited to registrations, booking of venues (for in-house training), booking of hotels and air tickets (for overseas training) and administering payments.
• Track employee training participation and maintain updated training records in the HR system.
• Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, logistics and feedback forms. Manage post-training evaluation, compile training reports and statistics.
• Research and apply for training grants/funding from the relevant agencies.
• Explore and identify available training programmes that align with the needs and required skillsets of the staff in each department.
• Support the coordination of the staff induction programme.

Other Administrative Duties

• Support monthly health care related payment requests and staff pass orders.
• Manage and ensure adequate stock of staff polo shirts.Manage the requisition and distribution of vouchers and cards for employee’s birthday and special occasion recognition.
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other HR communications,.
• Support the team in training and outreach activities i.e. Career Fairs, Learning Journey etc.
• Undertake any other duties, as assigned.

Job Specifications

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, preferably in Human Resources Management or Business Administration
• 1-2 years of experience in an HR support role would be an added advantage.

The Resident Technical Officer shall be directly responsible to the Consultant (Architect) / Project PM for the duration of the construction of the Works.

Shall assist in the supervision of the construction of the Structural Works under the Building Control Act and to render all assistance as may be required by the Consultant (Civil & Structural Engineer) and the Consultant (Mechanical & Electrical Engineer).

For HDB Project Civil & Structural / Architectural Works :

Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or equivalent

• Registered RTO accredited by the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Preferred applicants with Certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisors Course
• Minimum 6 years relevant experience in supervision of building projects in Singapore
• Must have HDB/ BTO projects supervision experience

Job Description:

1. Access the Authority’s computerised system(s) or any other database maintained by the Authority to retrieve new and renewal applications.
2. Check applications to ensure that all required fields in the application form are filled out, and ensure that all supporting documents are enclosed and/or attached
3. Submit the completed applications to the OC and/or Assistant OCs of the respective business division for approval.
4. Correspond with applicants to clarify and advise on the requirements of the applicants’ application.
5. Send by email or conventional mail, the soft/or hard copies of the application approval or rejection letters to the applicants.
6. Attend to members of public who walk into the Authority’s premises to enquire about their license applications.
7. Respond to service requests, complaints, and feedback from the public, applicants, and licensees, and assist walk-in enquiries about license applications as directed by the Authority.
8. On the job training will be provided.

Requirements:

1. Singapore Citizen.
2. Have minimum an “O” Level certificate in Singapore
3. Possess at least two (2) years of working experience in related administrative work and have basic IT skills, including experience with operating, software applications and email management
4. Be willing to learn the use of the Authority’s computerised licensing system to process licenses

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle public complaints and feedback related to project site.
• Prepare letters and notices to communicate with community and residents regarding development of project.
• Implement public relationship programme.
• Arrange and attend meetings on public relation matters with project team where necessary.
• Prepare a monthly report to update on the feedbacks and complaints.
• Maintain good relationship with clients and residents.
• Assist other general administrative support to the project teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
