What you will be doing:

• The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the investment and operation of renewable energy assets, including solar, and demand response (often enabled by large-scale batteries), as well as supporting the optimisation of our environmental certificates business.
• Drive the investment strategy and oversee the operations of renewable energy assets, including solar and demand response, while contributing to the growth of Flo’s environmental certificates business.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand Flo's renewable energy asset portfolio.
• Manage asset P&L, ensuring financial performance and maximising returns on investment.
• Lead your team (2-5 FTE) in managing the entire sales pipeline, covering in-house lead generation, business development, feasibility analysis, and client proposal preparation.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential investment opportunities brought through third-party channels.
• Supervise project development and monitor asset performance to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Partner with the Portfolio Management Team to enhance the sourcing of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and identify energy offtake opportunities.
• Build and mentor a multidisciplinary team of project managers and business development experts.
• Foster relationships with regulatory bodies, EPC partners, and vendors.
• Collaborate with Flo’s technology team to design development plans and update the product roadmap, ensuring the business has appropriate technological support.
• Serve as the market leader for Flo’s renewable energy business in Singapore, spearheading large sales initiatives and securing high-value deals.

You will be a good candidate if you have:

• MBA or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with proven leadership and P&L management experience.
• Strong track record in business development, financial oversight, and operations.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks and policies related to renewable energy.
