GK Laboratory Asia Pte Ltd, a leader in the beauty, skincare, and health supplement industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive our market expansion into China. The role demands strong leadership, exceptional sales expertise, and a passion for business innovation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exploring and managing opportunities in the China market, with a particular focus on retail sales of health supplements, beauty products, and strategic partnerships.

This position requires frequent travel to China to build relationships, identify opportunities, and enhance the company’s brand presence in one of the most dynamic markets globally

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow the retail sales of health supplements and beauty products in China.
• Identify new revenue streams, negotiate high-value deals, and consistently exceed sales targets in both beauty and health supplement categories.
• Lead and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Leverage existing networks and build new partnerships with Chinese companies, distributors, and retail chains.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align retail strategies with consumer preferences and market trends in China.
• Travel frequently to China to engage directly with stakeholders, participate in trade shows, and conduct market research.
• Monitor industry trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
• Provide detailed updates to senior management on business activities, sales performance, and market developments.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with a proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in health supplements or beauty products.
• Strong ability to negotiate, close deals, and achieve significant revenue growth in retail sector.
• In-depth understanding of consumer behavior, business practices, and regulatory requirements in the China market.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English is mandatory for effective communication and collaboration.
• Proven ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Frequent travel to China is required to build relationships and oversee market activities.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to adapt to dynamic market conditions and develop effective solutions.

Responsibilities

As a System/ Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

System And Network,

Able to configure CISCO, Fortinet, Juniper, Firewall & Antivirus, and other security software.

Experience with CISCO core switches, Access Points (Wireless) such as Aironet / Meraki / HP Aruba is a plus.

Familiarize with CISCO Network LAN & WAN design.

Pre-sales to Point to Point and Client VPN.

Setup and perform troubleshooting with network technical skills, including CISCO Routers, CISCO Switches, wireless devices, Fortinet Firewalls, Load Balancers, and system management tools like Network Analysis.

Install WINDOWS Server O/S, WIN 11, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Platform for Servers, and PCs with hands-on experience in setup and configuration.

Knowledge of setup/configure VMWare, Exchange Server, SQL, and Virtual Server, along with hardware configuration experience (Server, external backup, UPS) in FAS System, HPE Storage, Synology NAL, etc.

Job Description

Rack/stack IT Equipment.

Installation/configuration of various OS (Windows, Linux, Vmware).

Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones.

Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.

Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team.

Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.

Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

Configure and Network security appliances such as firewalls, routers, and switches.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

Able to configure/design and provide consultation for Cisco Switches, Router and Fortigate Firewall

3 – 10 years of relevant experience in server implementation / operation / administration for Vmware / Storage / Redhat / Windows.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Possess initiative with positive working attitudes

Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work after office hours/weekend for systems preventive maintenance

Overall in-charge of the Econ Group on its finance and accounting aspects

• Responsible for financing and banking matters

• Feasibility study on all projects in Singapore as well as overseas on its financial aspect

• Monitor the financial performance of Econ Group

• Involve in the taxation and costing matters

• Improve on the accounting management information system and computerisation programme

• Develop standard accounting practice within the group of companies
