About Self-Run Concepts in Food Services, FairPrice Group
Self-Run Concepts is a novelty F&B business unit that conceptualizes food concepts and drives a multi-brand portfolio. Besides its key brand Heavenly Wang - Singapore’s No. 1 Halal-Certified Asian cafe which has a local heritage of over 70 years, it also currently runs 7-Time Michelin Bib Gourmand Brand - Shi Hui Yuan, as well as CHOMP! - a new brand that was conceptualized to offer a variety of curry rice and local delights. In addition to these brands, we are also looking to expand and incubate more new and successful brands to the portfolio.

Position Overview
You will be an integral partner of ours. As a key member of SRC’s Business Development team, you will support the team in conceptualizing, planning and executing business development campaigns, activations to drive footfall and revenue, and brand awareness for our multi-brand portfolio.
- Drive financial growth and health through brick-and-mortar and digital sales channels.
- Coordinate between various functions and propose new business ideas that can improve revenue and margins.
- Act as the concept leader for all brands under the portfolio. Create new brands, develop brand strategies and tactics, promote brand growth and expansion, review market trends, implement branding and marketing plans, using data to drive volume and profitability
- Lead and execute special projects and research such as new technology initiatives, new capabilities, partnerships and sustainability efforts.
- Provide all marketing operational support for various teams within SRC.
- Supports our franchise business and identifies scalable opportunities.
- Be part of the end-to-end planning, implementation of the marketing calendar and working closely with our internal and external resources.
- Work with agencies/in-house design team to conceptualize and develop impactful campaign collaterals & assets, including adaptations for social media, digital, on-site BTL POSM, merchandise.
- Manage and update the website/s and owned social media channels with content planning and copywriting.
- Track performances/results of marketing campaigns; including collation of results from point-of-sale, stakeholders, research & other data sources.
- Assist with day-to-day business development and administrative matters. including coordination with vendors, agencies and internal stakeholders (business entities and corporate functions), preparation and coordinate distribution of marketing collaterals to outlets, facilitates any marketing activities for localised marketing, filming, photography, Public Relations.
- Identify revenue growth opportunities such as but not limited to corporate sales sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership and Strategy
- Serve as the brand custodian for all SRC brands, ensuring consistent and compelling brand positioning.
- Drive brand performance by optimizing sales and profitability through multiple channels, including delivery, eCommerce, in-store, corporate deals, and limited-time offers (LTOs).
- Oversee store openings, providing strategic input on brand applications and launch strategies.
- Continuously analyze market trends, sales data, competitor analysis and customer insights to refine brand strategies and marketing practices.
Marketing and Communications
- Develop targeted marketing and communication plans for each brand, utilizing a mix of print, digital, and other media channels.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, from calendar development and product launch to cost management, design, and production.
- Collaborate on product development, ensuring alignment with brand identity and cost objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and recognition.
Digital and eCommerce Development
- Lead the strategic development and optimization of eCommerce/e-ordering channels to enhance our portfolio and profit margins.
- Identify and leverage new and existing sales channels (eg: shopee, link rewards, shopback) to drive revenue growth across all brands within the business unit.
- Develop and implement eCommerce strategies that align with overall business objectives.
Special Projects and Research
- Lead and execute company-wide initiatives, including technology rollouts and capability expansions (e.g., franchising, new technology adoption).
- Conduct research and develop strategy papers for presentation to Senior Management.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on Government Grant applications.
- Provide operational support to various teams, including facilitating Halal certifications and renewals.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain an informed and commercially driven perspective on business opportunities and challenges, prioritizing activities that deliver measurable value.
- Collaborate with Management to foster a high-performing culture within SRC and its outlets.
- Mentor and develop future leaders, including Management Trainees.

Requirements
Key Competencies
- Experience in F&B organizations or in creative agencies preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Data-driven mindset with a creative flair for marketing
- Strong project management, multitasking.
- Meticulous and process-driven, with excellent time management skills.
- Possess the drive for excellence and self-motivation to work independently in a fast-paced and highly dynamic F&B and retail environment
- Collaborative team player
- Good interpersonal & communication skills with strong written English and/or Chinese skills
- Experience in web and design software/ canva will be advantageous e.g. HTML and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing is a bonus
- Proficient in Google Workspace/ Microsoft Office applications
