Job Description:

• The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving their own sales target, getting new customers on board and increasing revenue size through existing accounts.
• Build and actively nurture strong professional relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within assigned accounts.
• Assess current and future customer service needs by establishing personal connections with both prospective and existing clients, serving as a bridge between them and the organisation.
• Identify potential sales opportunities early in the sales process to maximize the organisation's market share.
• Work with the inbound team and specialists to evaluate and qualify sales opportunities.
• Follow up promptly on quotations for your assigned customer base.
• Monitor site activities regularly and provide support to site team when necessary.
• Use CRM tools diligently to log activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are eliminated, new information is recorded, and call/visit logs are kept up-to-date.
• Participate actively in pipeline reviews, maintaining up-to-date CRM records and identifying key success factors for major opportunities.
• Any other activities assigned.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Mechanical engineering or Business required.
• Expertise and experience in the construction industry is a must.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Clear, precise and effective communication skills with stakeholders in the organisation and with customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving strong sales growth to achieve sales and profit targets in assigned territories, industries and channels
• Develop new distributors in assigned territories
• Build and maintain strong relationship with distributors, direct customers, purchasers and end users
• Provide sales & product trainings to distributors and end-users
• Work closely with key customers/distributors to plan, implement marketing strategies and promotional programs in line with company’s direction
• Recommend appropriate pricing strategies for all product lines.
• Gather and analyse market and competitors information

Job Requirements:

• Highly sales-focused individual who is extremely self-motivated and keen to make increasing sales and be rewarded for success
• Experience in export sales is a must. Experience in chemical product sales with regional sales function in South East Asia will be advantageous.Previous sales experience in marine, oil & gas, industrial sectors, distributor management would be advantageous
• Regional selling experience in South East Asia preferred
• Excellent selling, negotiation and relationship building skills
• You MUST believe that SALES is a NUMBERS game, and achieving targets is the primary objective

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Industry Development. Reporting to the Senior Director, GMNC, the incumbent will lead and manage a team of Global Country Account Managers (GAMs) to achieve and exceed targeted performance such as revenue, profitability, service quality etc.

Your Tasks

What You Bring

· Minimum 8 years or more of working experience in a commercial environment, with at least 3 years of consultative selling experience.

· Culturally sensitive with strong customer service orientation and strong ability to operate and functionally manage people (networking and persuasive skills).

· A resourceful and strong individual who can work independently and within a team to deliver results.

· Strong communicator (in written & spoken English) with excellent numeric and presentation skills.

· Degree in Business Management or a commercially orientated subject e.g. Logistics, etc.
