We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Lead to spearhead our entry into the bearings market in the Asia Pacific region. This is a critical role responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with potential and key customers, with a particular focus on steel mills and other related industry users of bearings.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the bearings industry, a strong network of industry contacts, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Market Development & Sales Growth

• Develop and implement a business development strategy for the Asia Pacific region (excluding China).
• Identify and prioritize target markets, focusing on steel mills and related sectors.

• Collaborate with communications team to enhance online visibility using SEO, SEM, and SMM.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across the bearings supply chain, including customers’ procurement teams, and our selected supply partners.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on bearings, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction and promptly attending to their technical and commercial needs.

Market Research & Intelligence

• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and new business opportunities.
• Provide regular updates on market conditions, including pricing, customer preferences, and competitors’ strategies.

Technical & Product Expertise

• Have a working knowledge of bearings, including types, specifications, and application requirements.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to meet customer needs with appropriate solutions.
• Educate customers on product applications and assist with basic technical queries.
• Stay updated on product innovations and advancements to offer value-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

• 5–10 years of experience in the bearings industry, with a proven track record in business development or sales.
• Strong exposure to industrial customers, especially steel mills, in the Asia Pacific region, and demonstrable network of contacts
• Demonstrated success in entering new markets and achieving measurable business growth.

Skills & Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of bearings products, applications, specifications, and supply chain in the region; global knowledge is a plus.
• Established network of customers and distributors in the Asia Pacific region (excluding China), especially in the steel industry; global networks are a plus.

To support their expanding operations, they seek an experienced Site Engineer/Senior Site Engineer to drive innovation, foster collaboration, and enhance project delivery.

Your new role
A few of your responsibilities would be;

· Assist the Construction Manager in project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.

· Monitor daily site progress, identify potential delays, and implement adjustments to keep projects on track.

· Maintain and update project schedules, collecting actual data on progress and manpower allocation.

· Prepare monthly progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.

· Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.

· Resolve site-related technical problems and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

What you'll need to succeed

· Minimum 8 years of engineering experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field.

· At least 3 years of experience in planning, coordinating, and managing construction works/teams on similar projects.

· Prior experience working on construction sites, especially on civil projects.
