• Designing & develop software application that meet automated machine specifications.

Requirements

• Degree, Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or its equivalent.

• Proficiency in C++ or C# programming on Windows environment.

• Knowledge in OOP design pattern, developing multi-threaded software.

• Programming experience in SECS/GEM communications or machine vision applications.

• Good understanding of Robotics modelling / Machine Vision / Machine Learning / Deep learning concepts is an advantage.

About the team

Our team works to build out the backend services, testing infrastructure, and best practices that enable TikTok engineers to deliver high-quality features and systems to our users. We aim to provide systems enabling testing and operation to be more productive and secure. The systems we are building include testing frameworks, standards and related tools and platform. We are looking for engineers who have good backend design and/or infra experience to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Build testing infrastructure which is related to API, UI and Web automation which supports all TikTok products

- Design, build and support automated testing, continuous deployment and telemetry systems that help our teammates work more effectively.

- Help make decisions around infrastructure technology choices that impact developer workflow, security, scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Contribute to the curation and prioritization of the team roadmap.

- Embrace cross-team collaboration, debate, and execution, working closely with teammates in business orgs to solve problems and make sure our infrastructure evolves with our products.

Qualifications

- Bachelor degree in computer science or a related technical discipline with 5+ years' industry experience;

- Experience working with Java/C++/Python/Golang;

- Experience in one or more of the following: private or public cloud, backend architecture, CI/CD system, testing infrastructure

Preferred:

- Automation testing infrastructure experience

- Experience with technical leadership and dealing with ambiguity

Description

• Design and optimization of mechanical components for HVAC systems
• Analysis of mechanical systems, including structural, fatigue, thermal and vibration
• Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards
• Construct and build developed systems
• Collaborate and interact with external vendors for component selection, manufacturing and system assembly
• Read, interpret and review technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Generate operating procedures and provide technical information
• Collaborate and analyze customer design proposals, specifications and requirement, and to evaluate and propose solutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering degrees
• Diploma with good experience in mechanical design and system assembly will also be considered
• Good mechanical aptitude and knowledge
• Proficient in SolidWorks and modeling
• Excellent problem solving and project management skills
• Background in HVAC engineering is a plus
• Experience in product development especially in HVAC product development is a plus
• Technically sound coupled with experience in sourcing, negotiation and cost control

The Web Development Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. This role requires a strong understanding of web technologies, programming languages, and software development methodologies. • Demonstrate proficiency in Aerobic/Anerobic processes, membrane technology (UF, MBR), and sludge handling applications in water/wastewater treatment.
• Exhibit self-drive, results orientation, and the ability to excel both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Fluent in Mandarin to facilitate effective communication with Chinese clients and vendors.
• Prefer immediate availability or a short notice period.
• Must hold Singaporean citizenship.
