Qualification Guidelines

Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Material Science

Minimum Experience

Minimum 5 years’ working experience with semiconductor assembly & packaging process.

Specific Knowledge / Skills

· Ideally with strong all rounded semiconductor assembly & packaging process experience & knowledge, deep understanding about processes such as wafer cleaving, die attachment (especially eutectic die attach), wire bonding, etc.

· Strong skills in developing & refining process to enhance yield, reliability & efficiency, with vast hands-on experience in DOE (design of experiment) practice.

· Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve process issues effectively, with proved experience in process/product FMEA practices and root cause analysis skills.

· Familiar with lean manufacturing principles, good knowledge in Six Sigma Methodologies (DMAIC framework) is a plus.

· Proficient in typical process control tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Pareto Analysis etc is a must.

· Ability to develop long-term strategies for process improvement & innovation.

· In-depth knowledge of materials used in semiconductor packaging and their interfaces.

Job Responsibilities

• Under supervision or independently, carry out design safety philosophies, specifications for fire protection systems (active and passive), and data sheets for firefighting systems
• Develop UFDs and P&IDs for the fire protection systems and carry out fire water/foam demand calculations (including gas suppression systems) and firewater system hydraulic check analysis
• Prepare hazardous area classification source release schedules/reports and their drawings, fire zone drawings, safety and fire fighting, life-saving equipment layouts, escape route drawings, safety signs drawings, firefighting nozzle coverage shadow drawings, etc
• Support in reviewing/consolidating comments and coordinating third party studies, including FERA, dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, dropped objects study, TRIA, ship collision study, QRA studies, etc. (not limited to)
• Assist in the preparation of active and passive fire protection, lifesaving, and safety signs packages (including preparing requisitions, datasheets, TBE, etc.) and PFP schedule documents
• Support in TBE and vendor document reviews in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrument packages on safety (including HFE) aspects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
• Minimum of 3 years of HSE Engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry, specifically in Process Safety/Technical Safety
• Involved in design projects for offshore (FPSO/Platforms) or onshore (Refineries, LNG facilities, Storage terminals, etc.)
• Possess good knowledge of Oil & Gas facilities, local and international regulatory codes and standards, and the ability to influence designs to achieve optimal HSE outcomes
• Familiarity with plot plan reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification/verification, and other Safety reviews (e.g., SIMOPS, ALARP) is preferred

The Project Manager / Process Engineer will assume responsibility for the project management of NPC and its affiliates projects, inclusive of engineering, testing, delivery and the main point of contact for our customers. The Project Manager / Process Engineer is highly organized and can apply learned engineering principles to this role.

Responsible for all phases of a customer's project, including:

• Support for budget/quotation phase
• Contract review of orders received against quotations

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or related field; graduate degrees in business preferred.
• Previous experience in engineering or project management within the life sciences area, performing equipment testing are (FAT, SAT, commissioning and qualification) preferred.
