Overall Job Objectives

Assists the PM to oversee the construction activities, progress, planning, implementing, and monitoring of work schedules in accordance with the master and detailed work programme

Core Responsibilities

1. Attend site meetings and inspection

2. Preparation of documentation including project status report, method of statement and work procedure for the project.

3. Planning, executing, monitoring and control of the project.

4. Liaising and coordinating with all parties such as clients, consultants, consultants’ representatives, site supervisors, and sub-contractors

5. Handing of technical and engineering problems

6. Supervise ongoing site activities closely

7. Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met

8. Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed

9. Prepare necessary work and safety permits, submission documents and drawings once work are completed.

10. Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job Description & Requirements:

• Review of civil & Structural working drawings and shop drawings in connection with SEM and steel structure shop drawings during pre-construction phase to prepare construction methods, identifying risks to promote strategies and alternative methodologies to mitigate.
• Organizing regular meetings with the sub-contractor's technical teams to resolve technical problems in pre-construction and construction phase.
• Working closely with Design team and LTA/QPS (client) to resolve execution issues with appropriate functional proposals with an aid of presentation or sketches.
• Preparing method statement for construction working including RA and SWP.
• Prepare of RFI for site inspection for construction, MPI test, welding works and post concrete works and also involving in site inspection with QP.
• Reviewing of rebar BBS prepared by sub-con in compliance with standards and shop drawings roof slabs, steel structures and corbel details for precast installation.
• Site Supervision of construction of structures such as pile cap, undergrounds tanks, base slab, column (~12m high) including corbel, RC beams, Capping beam, RC and PC beam connections, ramps, steel and RC struts, hanging sumps and staircases.
• Reviewing and site supervision of surface water drain and waterproofing shop drawings and site work.
• Assisting construction manager for plannning and preparing daily progress reports
• Tracking and optimizing manpower for each works
• Preparation of conceptual drawings for steel decking or other temporary structures required on site and reviewing shop drawing submitted by sub-con and supervising site installation.
• Reviewing concept drawings and supervising installation of bracing connections between permanent plunge-in-columns for top down column construction.
• Reviewing sub-con's shop drawing for steel strut and supervision of installation work.

JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Perform route mapping and navigation testing
• Assists in setting up the servers and other peripherals needed for robot operations
• Execute hardware and system upgrade or modification
• Provide technical support to the Service Team for Tier 3 - Software and System issues whenever necessary
• Conduct training to the Product Operators and Service Team for the newly setup system, equipping them with product operations and basic troubleshooting knowledge
• Coordinates with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and providing regular progress reports
• Escalate higher level issue whenever necessary
• Prepare and submit relevant Operations documents as needed
• Execute ad hoc tasks on behalf of the Robotics Operations Team as needed

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Diploma, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Engineering or other related fields
• Proven relevant work experience of at least 2 years
• Strong background in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) and Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV)
• Familiarity in mechanical/electrical hardware installation, setup and troubleshooting
• Familiarity in system/network installation, setup and troubleshooting
• Familiarity in AutoCAD, ElcoCAD and any other design and planning software
• Familiarity of LINUX (Ubuntu) System and software troubleshooting will be an added advantage
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical / electrical prints and other related technical documentation
• Strong working knowledge of equipment, tools and components used in the industry
• Proficiency in using computers and basic applications such as MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Ability to work independently and remain professional under pressure
• Ability to clearly communicate with colleagues and end users

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT

• Willing to travel locally in a short notice
• Comfortable to work overtime as needed
• Willing to be deployed overseas as needed

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical instrumentation is preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Certifications: Possession of a certificate in Geotechnical Instrumentation for Engineers or registration as a Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer (GeoSS) is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, instrumentation techniques, and data analysis tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills,

Job Description:

• Corporate with the constrcution manager to connect with various government acceptance departments.
• Corporate with the constrcution manager to supervise and manage the site to meet the various goals of the project.
• Corporate closely with subcontractors to monitor the progress of small towns and coordinate the work resources required by subcontractors to meet project requirements.
• Corporate with goverment personnel to conduct on-site inspections.
• Participate in weekly or monthly meetings with subcontractors to discuss work progress and corperate in preparing monthly meeting progress reports.
• Establish good relationships with all relevant parties.
• Corporate to ensure site safety and comply with the requirements of the authorities.
• Corporate to organize relevant physical and electronic documents on site engineer, etc.
• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree or above preferably from a recognized University accredited with PEB, Singapore
• Experience with public residential projects would be advantages
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Projects, AutoCAD
• Ability to keep a positive attitube in a fast-paced environment
