Responsibilities:

• Work within a cross-functional team of robotics scientists and engineers to develop next- generation autonomous mobile robots (AMR)
• Design, develop, prototype, integrate and test advanced robotic mechatronic system and sub-system (sensing, manipulation, control, human-interaction, etc…)
• AMR setup, integration, programming and testing using different brands of mobile robots and mobile manipulators, including proprietary robots
• Providing hands-on on-site support for mechatronic system development, integration, testing and troubleshooting of AMR platforms
• Translate new technology and research outputs into modular and re-useable mechatronic sub-systems to be integrated into various AMR platforms
• Design of experiments to benchmark system performance by adopting in-house and/or industrial test methodology
• Troubleshooting of robotic system / subsystem / module using development tools, specialized equipment and standard lab equipment
• Adopting latest standards and/or methodology to work (standards, open source, common platform)

Requirements:

• Degree/Masters in Mechatronics or Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in mechatronic system design, development, and integration
• Passionate in robotic manipulation, sensing/perception and control system design, prototyping and practical problem-solving; with hands-on experience with robotics system / hardware
• Proficient in mechatronics CAD design tools such as Altium, PADS, AutoCAD or similar
• Balanced skills and experiences in mechanical design, basic electrical circuitry and microcontroller programming
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python and C++, and/or other languages
• Hands on experience in commissioning of industrial robots/mobile robots/mobile manipulator
• Experience with design and development of mobile robots or mobile manipulator will be a plus
• Must be result-orientated, independent and a self-driven team player
• Strong in written and verbal communication in English

Main Responsibilities

1. Plan and execute layout designs for modules or single-chip circuits, including routing and verification tasks such as DRC, LVS, and EM checks.
2. Enhance product performance through optimized layout design techniques.
3. Collaborate effectively with design engineers to achieve layout design objectives.
4. Prepare and review tape-out data for accuracy and completeness.
5. Draft layout design documentation.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Microelectronics, or related fields.
2. Direct experience in analog and mixed-signal IC layout design; familiarity with EDA tools such as Virtuoso, Calibre, and EM verification tools.
3. Proficiency in CMOS/BCD MOS processes and device structures, as well as layout handling for common package types.
4. Familiarity with common ESD protection device structures, principles, and full-chip latch-up protection methods.

5. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.

6. Proactive, diligent, and capable of working under pressure; excellent learning, communication, and teamwork skills.

The Role:

As a Services Engineer, you will work within the Services operations team in Singapore and you will be responsible to support any job assign to you to ensure customer satisfaction with Schneider products and its services.

What will you do?

• Perform field service (customer site service) activities involving the installation supervision, commissioning, maintaining, modification, onsite training, system upgrade and repair of Schneider PLC.
• Responsible for a region or subgroup of field services.
• Performs installation supervision and commissioning of Schneider products including day to day service of the same.
• Performs maintenance for Schneider PLC.
• Trains customers on equipment operation and maintenance of Schneider PLC Product.
• Represents Schneider dealing with customer concerns.
• Responsible for identifying and reporting failure modes encountered when in the field. Also responsible for determining the cause of these failures.
• Solve Site problems at customers site and provides reports on these issues.
• Providing 24hrs telephone support for customers.
• Acquisition of Customer Service products.
• Support internal for spare parts warranty, preparation and assembly.
• Improve on site report and process.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Min Diploma / Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Min 3-5 yrs exp. in Oil & Gas sector, Power Generation, Petrochemical technical experience is an added advantage.
• Has experience and skilled in PLC. Technical knowledge of MV and LV equipment will be an added advantage.
• Willing to travel up to 80% within Region.
• Has teamwork and is customer oriented.
• Has good time management and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Ability to interface with all functional areas of the company.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word and Power Point.
