Job Description: Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at D-SIMLAB Technologies, you will play a key role in deriving insights from large datasets to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role focuses on data extraction, analysis, and actionable insights, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy D-SIMLAB’s software products as well as provide professional consultation services to our clients. The ideal candidate is someone who excels in data-driven analysis and is eager to work on high-impact projects in the semiconductor industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Extraction and Analysis:
  Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from semiconductor manufacturing environments to ensure data consistency, completeness, and correctness.
  Use statistical methods and data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that impact production performance.
• Performance Evaluation:
  Analyze the gap between planned and actual production outcomes. Identify root causes for performance deviations and recommend data-driven strategies for process improvement. Develop reports and visualizations to present findings to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Data-Driven Insights:
  Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. Work closely with clients to understand their specific needs and translate data findings into operational and strategic improvements.
• ETL and Data Modeling:
  Build and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into D-SIMLAB’s data models. Collaborate with simulation modeling teams to ensure accurate and reliable data is fed into models.
• Consultation Services:
  Act as a trusted advisor to clients by offering data-driven recommendations for enhancing their production efficiency. Present analyses and proposals to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and actionable takeaways.
• Data Visualization and Reporting:
  Create dashboards and reports using advanced data visualization tools to communicate key insights and trends effectively. Continuously improve reporting mechanisms to provide real-time insights and support ongoing optimization efforts.
• Collaboration with Teams:
  Work with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and other cross-functional teams to ensure that data insights align with product goals and customer needs. Contribute to product enhancement initiatives, focusing on the improvement of data-related components and analytics.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Data Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  Strong analytical skills with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in an industrial environment. Semiconductor experience is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel.
  Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
  Experience with ETL processes and database management.
• Analytical Abilities:
  Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle large datasets and deliver actionable insights to improve operational performance.
• Soft Skills:
  Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, multidisciplinary team.
  Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to Travel:
  Willing to travel for international projects and collaborate closely with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

· You will promote and propose Trane Chiller & Equipment to building consultants and contractors

· Responsible for developing long term customer relationships

· Building close business relationship with customers especially key accounts

Requirement:

· Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent

· 1-2 years in Engineering sales, experience in HVAC industry will be a plus

Responsibilities:

• To provide engineering support to the Project team from validation phase to project implementation

• To identify type of material and equipment requirement during validation phase.

• To involve in preparation and submission of engineering submittals.

• Programming of devices & creating and programming graphics in accordance with the project requirement.

• To assist in Test and Commissioning of system equipment.

• To assist in preparation and submission of operation and Maintenance Manuals.

• To provide Bill of Quantity for the projects.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Engineering or Building Control in relevant field

• Min 1-2 years of relevant work experience

• Experience in PLC programming is added advantage

• Experience in handling energy management systems/ HVAC systems/ Chiller Plant systems/ Building Management Systems will be a plus

• Knowledge of IT networking and database programming, Function Block programming, Structured Language Programming or HTML5 programming will be of added advantage

• Knowledge of industrial system protocols like BACnet, Modbus, LONTalk

• Strong customer management and problem solving skills

Job Description

• REs shall provide standing supervision of all civil and structural works to ensure compliance with the following authorities' requirements:
• The inspection of the bus depot involves the demolition and removal of the existing Pasir Panjang Distripark. Following this, the construction will take place for main depot building, dormitory and administration office.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
• Supervise and monitoring of contractors’ work to ensure they are carried out in accordance with the provision in the contract document.
• To monitor the progress and assist SRE/QP on structural inspection on all Structural works according to the approved drawings issued.
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters.
• Review and comment on contractor's submissions.

Job Requirements

• The RE shall have minimum three (4) years of experience as a civil engineer; and have least two (2) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to the Works in the Civil Contract.
• All RE shall have a diploma in the civil discipline or equivalent and be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.

Work During Office hour

Monday to Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Willing to work on rotation shifts)

Sunday and Public Holiday: 00:00 hours onwards or otherwise advised by project officer depending on LTA’s contractor work schedule.

Project Engineers manage the planning and processes of a project and delegate responsibilities to ensure the project is completed efficiently and successfully. Their day-to-day duties and responsibilities may vary depending on the type of industry, company or project they’re working on, but typically include the following:

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
• Delegate tasks to team members according to their individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
• Maintain budgets and make adjustments according to needs as they arise.
• Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
• Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients.

Qualification & Requirements

• Min 2 years working experience preferable in fabrication environment.
• Familiar with welding works, steel structure, winch, crane and zone rated added advantages
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 QA system
• Software – AutoCAD, Solidworks ,MS Office
• Strong communication skills. English speaking and writing is a must
• Resourceful, independent and detail oriented
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the department Manager(s) on project tendering including technical review, sourcing and cost estimating, project scheduling, drawings, procedures and documentation preparation etc.
• Overseeing of project execution as directed by Department manager including contract review (technical), vendors selection, costs evaluation, liaison for internal resources and supports, reply to client technical queries, prepare technical clarifications, plan and supervise project schedule , project execution and implementation, plan and implementation of corrective actions, Factory Acceptance Tests and finalization of as built documentation etc.
