Job Scope: To contribute as part of a process safety team on a proposal / project, in collaboration with different departments and process safety section, to manage Major Accident Hazards (MAHs) and prevent and mitigate Major Accident Events (MAEs) throughout the lifecycle of the facility.

• Develop / Support the development and review of HSSE Design Philosophy, and other process safety-related philosophies. Provide guidance to the proposal / project for compliance to company standards, client and regulatory requirements of safetyrelated systems.

Objectives of the position:

The NPI / Production Process Engineer is required to collaborate with the Program Management Team

and be involved in New Product Introduction activities and the creation of manufacturing Work

Instructions as well as other process documents. The incumbent is also expected to improve the work

Skills & Qualification:

 Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics,

Manufacturing/Production or industrial Engineering

 Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire or cable

harness. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Asst. Engineer position

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

 Basic manufacturing knowledge in cable harness assemblies, plastics and sheet metal preferred

 Experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures

 Good knowledge on Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred.

Job Description

• Review engineering standards/specifications/drawings, tender, quotations and proposal documents.
• Preliminary and detailed process & mechanical design of chemical plant, incineration plant, food waste plant, water/wastewater plant, offsites & utilities, pollution abatement, etc. including mechanical specification, design calculation, equipment layout design, support design, etc.
• Collaborate with BIM team for 3D model development and ensure the model is according to design.
• Coordination of internal and external engineering activities and the interdisciplinary interfaces to ensure that the project objectives and needs are achieved and exceeded.
• Prepare mechanical equipment requisitions and to ensure that the items procured are in accordance with specifications and schedule to ensure timely delivery.
• Technical review of mechanical equipment/system vendors proposal and submission.
• Coordination with equipment/system vendors on mechanical design and installation work during project execution stage.
• Prepare mechanical technical submissions and work with design lead to liaise with stakeholders, not limited to client/project consultant for submission approval.
• Prepare method statement for all the equipment installation
• Support during construction, installation, start-up, testing and commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance & perform any other duties as requested by design lead/ engineering management.

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 3 years and above in process & mechanical design in process plant (such as chemical plant, incineration plant, food waste, water/wastewater plant, offsites & utilities, ACMV, pollution abatement, etc) and hands on experience working in fast paced, diverse and multi-disciplined projects and O&M activities.
• Familiar with process & mechanical design code of practice and standards in Singapore, EN, ASME & PED.
• Experience with Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D preferred & in other related design software/applications.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software.
• Excellent coordination skills and communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

REQUIREMENT

· Experience with Master-CAM Programming are preferred.

· Experience of hands-on CNC Milling/Turning fabrication.

Job Description

• Oversee process design for process plant (Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, etc) including process simulation, mass balance, process flow diagram (PFD), P&ID, equipment layout, sizing calculation, control philosophy, process input for instrument/valve list, etc
• Provide process input and coordinate with other disciplines (including the BIM modelling team) for the design, installation and T&C work
