Located on Jurong Island, the petrochemical hub of Singapore, SRC operates a refinery that is capable of processing 290,000 barrels of crude oil per day to produce fuel products and chemical feedstocks that are supplied to domestic markets and overseas export markets under the brand labels of its shareholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Annual Gross Salary: S$46,000 to S$50,000)

• Ensure safe and optimal operation of process units
• Ensure workplace safety by proper asset upkeep, supporting function testing on safeguarding system and proper control on work activities in the plant
• Participate in plant shutdown & start-up and process unit troubleshooting work activities

• Diploma or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology (Petrochemicals or Pharmaceuticals) OR
• At least GCE "O" level with credits in English, Mathematics, Science (Physics or Chemistry)
• Fresh ITE / Polytechnic engineering graduates are welcome to apply as training will be provided

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

Job Summary:

Key responsibility areas

1. Marketing Communications and Public Relations

In support of the Manager, the Executive will:

• Assist in executing MSCS’s communications and marketing strategies, ensuring all efforts adhere to brand and corporate identity guidelines.
• Manage and support corporate and programme-led events, as well as departmental marketing campaigns.
• Develop and manage key MSCS collaterals and digital communication platforms, including the website and social media channels, to drive meaningful content production and social media engagement (e.g., campaigns using Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Oversee internal communication platforms such as newsletters and emails.
• Develop PR materials, including press releases, media pitches, and public education content, while maintaining strong media relations.
• Stay updated on best practices in the media and publishing industry to refresh and optimise media and publication processes as needed.
• Serve as a Brand Custodian, maintaining a favourable public image of MSCS by effectively communicating our programmes, achievements, and perspectives.

2. Development

In support of the Manager, the Executive will:

• Identify and cultivate potential new partnerships to advance the organisation’s mission and achieve individual fundraising targets, contributing to the overall fundraising goals of Morning Star.
• Build and maintain close working relationships with corporate stakeholders, sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
• Implement fundraising initiatives across all marketing channels.
• Coordinate the development of fundraising materials and collaterals.
• Manage all fundraising-related mailings, including direct mail and donor updates, to reinforce the organisation’s mission.
• Maintain and update donor records in the central database.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree, preferably in Mass Communications or Marketing Communications.
• Highly organised, process-focused aptitude, with strong management to follow-up on assigned tasks within the stipulated timelines for successful completion.

Job Responsibilities:

Lab

• Analyse/Evaluate samples based on customer’s request. For example, it will be conducted by microscope, microtome, DSC, FT-IR, retort sterilizer and Oxtran
• Conduct food storage test and coordinate lab tour/demonstration/seminar when outside company visits
• Support the management of technical centre with Technical Service/Market
• Development manager such as budget management, maintenance and task allocation
• Based on analysis/evaluation result, make report and promotion tools, reviewing result from other lab team members
• Collaborate with outside company to get better results

Technical Service/Market Development (TS&MD)

• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical problems and support new development at customers
• Promote our new products that will meet customer needs
• Explore new application and launch new development project
• Promote our products to whole value chain not only direct customers but also indirect customers such as brand owners, machine makers, raw material makers to enhance our market presence and create new projects
• Investigate market trend such as brand owner’s direction, sustainable packaging design and potential market size

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and / or Chemistry
