What we're looking for:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team! This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about expanding the customer base, increasing sales, and driving business growth within the car rental industry.
You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and developing strategies to increase market share and revenue.
Working hours - Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
Work Location - 73 Mackenzie Road, Mackenzie Car Mall, Lot 03/04, Singapore 228729
Job Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Identify and prospect new clients for car rental services, including corporate clients and individual consumers
- Generate leads through various platforms to create awareness of the company’s car rental offerings
- Develop and execute strategies for market penetration and customer acquisition in new and existing segments
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Provide tailored rental solutions and recommend products that suits clients’ needs
- Foster repeat business by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by closing rental deals and driving revenue growth
- Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement promotional strategies and seasonal offers
- Negotiate terms and pricing for corporate accounts, group rentals, and long-term rental agreements
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and competitor offerings in the car rental industry
- Provide insights to the management team on market dynamics, customer preferences, and potential growth opportunities
Brand Promotion & Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted advertising and promotional strategies
Customer Service & Support:
- Serve as the main point of contact for high-value customers, ensuring a smooth booking and rental process
- Resolve any issues or concerns during the rental period, ensuring customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business
- Assist in managing customer feedback and using it to improve services and offerings
Reporting & Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions
- Track performance against sales targets
- Prepare contracts and rental agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and terms
Requirements:
- Diploma in any field
- Experience not required
- Must possess Class 3A driving license (with min 1 year experience)
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills is preferred
- Ability to build and nurture client relationships
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of the car rental industry, fleet management, and market trends is a plus
- Able to converse fluently in mandarin for mandarin speaking customers
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and problem-solving
- Results-driven and able to work independently to achieve goals
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills
