Position summary

• Define, development and establish new process, equipment design and/or capability requirements aligned to Process and Packaging Roadmap
• Develop and engage creative solution for new process, equipment capabilities and/or solution to identified constraints or future technology requirements
• Work with equipment suppliers to develop new capability
• Actively participate in Package Development Engineering activities
• Conduct equipment benchmarking to establish the equipment suppliers and platforms for current and future need
• Create decision matrix for equipment and material selection
• Generates and set-up ADC, set-up/improve recipes
• Set-up PMON, Sampling Plans, BKM, CIP Strategies & performance indicators

Installation and qualification of new equipment platform and handover to production group

• Plan/submit capital request to acquire new Equipment
• Create purchasing specification (Doc2) document
• Establish the new equipment qualification criteria and activities roadmap with respective functional team
• Establish project handover requirements and procedures upon machine qualification
• Prepare documentation for handing over with respective site owner
• Conduct data gathering for low volume production
• Conduct training for Site representatives/personnel
• Establish the feedback loop for Continuous Improvement after mass volume production

Define, improve and/or maintain a matrix of key equipment platform capability and constraints (TOR - Tool of Records) on current and new equipment platform

• Maintain and regularly update the TOR, with inputs from local or other assembly site
• Maintain general knowledge of process and material characteristics and translate to equipment design requirement
• Search continually for new equipment or suppliers with improved or new capability that is aligned to Process/Packaging need

Collaborate with production group on upgrades of existing production equipment through continuous improvement projects

• Maintain knowledge of design constraints and weakness of existing platform
• Participate in the continuous improvement projects involving equipment improvement and upgrades

Job Requirements/ Qualifications:

• Bachelor or master’s in electrical engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A PhD is a plus.
• 4 or more years of experience with proven track record of technical leadership in semiconductor manufacturing in Metro Real-Time Defect Analysis Process & Equipment Engineering. Experience in other Front-End areas, in Post Wafer Fabrication & High Bandwidth Memory technology
• Be able to comfortably work across organizational boundaries and geographies.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional organizations to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to drive and implement a wide range of global initiatives with global teams.

Process Engineer (Biologics) - Job Scope

The successful candidate will apply process engineering knowledge to support new product/process introduction and/or commercial protein biologics processes. Scope of work would include:

Data Analysis:

• Compile and analyze process data using tools such as Excel and Minitab.
• Verify data in technical reports and spreadsheets.

Process Optimization:

• Consolidate and compare cell culture and purification process manufacturing practices for the purpose of facility fit and identification of areas for optimization and alignment across manufacturing sites.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Participate in teams and collaborate cross-functionally with representatives from other functions and sites to support drug substance manufacturing process alignment.

Meetings and Presentations:

• Organize and conduct meetings, actively creating, generating, and presenting data/conclusions at internal and cross-functional meetings.

Technical Documentation:

• Support authoring of technical protocols and reports.

Lab Support:

• Support small-scale cell culture or purification studies while ensuring safe operation of process development (PD) activities in the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:Degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, or Biochemistry.

Job Summary

The Injection Molding Process Engineer is a "hands-on" position that plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high quality injection molded product. The Process Engineer is responsible for coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes and assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements. While monitoring the effectiveness of processes this individual quantifies results, documents and presents findings to management and prepares reports.
This position also mentors and provides training to other injection molding personnel.

Job Description

1. Oversee molding production operations to meet requirements of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People (SQDCP).
2. Develop a robust Molding process by applying Scientific / Decoupled Molding techniques along with Design of Experiments (DOEs).
3. Implement and evaluate changes to existing processes designed to improve product quality, productivity and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
4. Develop and maintain process documentation ensuring that processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. use Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other techniques to analyze process data to determine capabilities as well as improvement on OEE
5. Implement technical solutions including statistical methodology in continuous improvement to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
6. Demonstrated ability to start-up, operate and shut down process related equipment. Must be able to work independently on new process development as well as troubleshooting current production issues and program robots and peripheral equipment
7. Work with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues.
8. Monitor and report issues with injection molds, make recommendations for refurbishment based on production factors such as cycles, process capability and tooling history.
9. Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide new project updates.
10. Facilitate and support facility and manufacturing safety, environmental, and ergonomics efforts.
11. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians, operators and other molding personnel.
12. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
