Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate plays a critical role in leading the engineering team, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Project management – oversee and manage the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects. Communicate project progress and technical information to the senior management to ensure timely and accurate completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations and company policies.
• Provides technical leadership, training and direction to the subordinates.
• Maximise maintenance team potential with a balanced focus on operations, guests, employees and owner satisfaction.
• Proper records keeping relating to all plant and equipment for the hotel including repair and maintenance.
• Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment, and tools are kept in a clean and safe environment
• Take responsibility for the cleanliness and safety aspects of all plant and mechanical equipment rooms
• Responsible for quality service, short and long-term planning, daily operations as well as preventive maintenance standards.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering related trade.
• At least 5 years related experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications and presentation skills
• Able to train, coach, motivate and develop staff
• With certification as FSM will be an added advantage

Job Responsibilities

• As an Equipment Owner able to evaluates, selects, and make justification for equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
• Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve equipment issues and manage/drive vendors' performance to meet/exceed equipment KPI, MTTR, MTBF and goals.
• Establishes projects and solutions for increasing uptime, throughput, cost saving and resolve equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
• Ability to review Process SPC data, setup equipment FDC and machine control. Experienced in Fabguard application. Improve and meet the equipment FDC OOC rate for equipment SECS/GEM capable.
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
• Defines and writes preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Conduct training to shift members (PM operator, Technician & Engineers).
• Able to coach shift engineer in performing hardware trouble shooting, generate troubleshoot lesson learnt material and equipment OCAP for sharing with Team.

Job Requirements

• Diploma with minimum 5years relevant working experiences or bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
• Had minimum 3~6 experienced in SUSS, TEL Track, SCREEN, EVG equipment.
• Additional experienced in exposure equipment will be added value.
• Able to perform overtime work (if require), including working in a cleanroom environment.
• Able to work well with minimal supervision and ability to prioritize tasks and follow specific procedures.
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor processing and process equipment (Lithography)
• Experienced in repair and maintain a variety of Wafer Bonder, Developer, Coater equipment operation and related issues.
• Have strong technical writing skill of equipment procedure, 8D, FMEA, RA, Incident Report. Ability to work with cross department on any ICAR/8D closure with proper measure implementation.
• Knowledge of using tools to diagnose, resolve the issue (e.g., Multimeter, flow meter, TC wafer, TRH data logger and hand tools).
• Experienced in equipment purchase requirement review with cross department, on new equipment purchasing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
• Strong initiative and work independent with result driven mindset.
