We are seeking a talented Presales Engineer with a strong background and enthusiasm for robotics to join our team. As a Presales Engineer, you will be a key player in shaping the success of our robotics solutions by actively engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and showcasing the capabilities of our products. You will play a pivotal role in driving our mission to redefine the future of smart cities and empower the service workforce through technology by developing proof-of-concept use cases with our business development team.

Duties and responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales/business development team to understand customer requirements and use cases, and identify how KABAM Robotics solutions can address those needs.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of our robotics solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concept capabilities through ad-hoc software development and mechanical/electrical design with the help of internal engineering teams.
• Work closely with customers to understand their specific use cases and provide expert guidance on the integration of our robots into their operations.
• Create technical proposals and documentation tailored to customer requirements.
• Develop a deep understanding of KABAM Robotics' products and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and our internal engineering teams, ensuring a smooth transition from presales to implementation.
• Support the sales team by participating in customer meetings, technical discussions, and addressing customer inquiries.
• Provide feedback to our product development team based on customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications, Skills, Experience

• Background in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge in their domain and the ability to work with customers.
• Should have at least one of the following:

○ Experience in Python or Javascript or C++. (or)

○ Experience in CAD software such as SolidWorks. (or)

○ Experience in mechatronics design such as working with Arduino or custom PCBs.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to understand and address customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Plus Qualifications

• Degree with a focus on robotics, mechatronics, or related fields.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, and other deployment tools.
• Exposure to backend system design to support robotics applications.
• Previous experience in a presales or technical sales role.
• Participation in robotics-related hackathons or competitions.

Responsibilities:

• Determine the scope based on requirements, including stating the scope of work, calculating the resources required in delivering the service and advising the senior system engineer preparing the quotation
• Install and configure services as per the approved implementation plan
• Carry out technology, professional and maintenance support services as per scope within the stipulated duration/ timeline
• Provide level 1 support (basic hardware break-fix & troubleshooting of hardware and software issues ) for installed services
• Provide technical deliverables such as high level design document, user acceptance test (UAT) doc and as-built documentation
• Provide outstanding quality of service and meet predefined customer service level agreement (SLAs)
• Undergo technical trainings and obtain technical certifications that are required to meet suppliers’ mandatory technical requirements
• Conduct knowledge transfer training (where required) 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Certified in at least one of the technology domain (Infrastructure hardware and software, hyperconvergence, network, security, cloud and/or end user computing)
• Strong technical knowledge on the assigned solution domain/product

Purpose of the job:

The Lifting Engineer is mainly responsible to perform the coordination of vehicle delivery activity to site inclusive the transportation from port to site storage until lifting up to the LRT guideway. Support Pre and Post vehicle delivery/decommissioning lifting preparation and coordination activity for all vehicles to be lifted up or down to/from the guideway/viaduct.

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation and review (of existing) lifting documents/methods (both transportation and lifting activity)

Coordinate the delivery of the vehicles with offshore manufacturing and review/follow up on pre-shipment vehicle history book and all require vehicle documents.

• Following up on the process of vehicle lifting and ensuring all documents readiness prior lifting.
• To coordinate and arrange periodic lifting gears/tools inspection with the subcontractor/customer.
• To coordinate and conduct lifting resources planning (internally & externally with contractor).
• To coordinate and organise delivery meeting with the manufacturer and operator to harmonize the delivery handshake.
• To coordinate and organise lifting meeting with the customer and operator to harmonize the onsite lifting arrangement.
• To conduct safety assessment & discussion with EHS team (safety) for any latest safety policy and implement the safety requirement when needed.
• To periodically monitor and implement any procedural changes according to the local authority requirement/regulation updates.
• To periodically monitor and execute the lifting work improvement at lifting site inclusive all facilities/tools.
• To prepare and update the lifting procedure, delivery methods and to ensure that all the vehicle history book/ vehicle documents are clearly written and verified by the customer before the commencement of the work.
• To organise/attend customer meeting and/or presenting the delivery and lifting plan.
• To prepare risk assessment prior work commencement.
