• Manage Desktop Devices (hardware, software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
• Manage hard and soft break fix services for laptops and desktops.
• Provide standard and approved hardware and software (operating systems and standard office applications) support and maintenance on Desktop (Field Users) Devices for their entire lifecycle (including the remote management of Desktop Devices using appropriate tools).
• Support, Manage, Optimize and Maintain the configuration and installation of the Desktop, to include, but not limited to, patch updates, hardware replacements, with spares provided by vendor.
• Ensure that each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image.
• Manage Desktop Devices (hardware and software) incidents through to resolution.
• Candidate is higher experience will be considered for L2 Support role.

What to Expect:

Helpful experience

● Experience with deployments cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

● 3-5 years of relevant experience

What we are looking for:

• Hands-on experience working on AWS

• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker, and Kubernetes

• Good understanding of virtualization and networking concepts

• Hands-on experience with configuration management systems such as Terraform, Packer and Ansible

• Hands-on experience with production deployments such as Kubernetes and automating provisioning with IaC best practices.

• Hands-on experience in Linux server administration, and shell scripting with Bash, and good to have other scripting languages.

• Knowledge in System architecture is a plus

• Has knowledge of tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, ELK, docker, eks, kubernetes, ansible, terraform, packer, helm, networking, Linux, elk, GitLab, aws

• programming knowledge in Python, bash

• Experience with highly scalable distributed systems

• Breadth of knowledge - OS, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing

• Manage the operations of cloud infrastructure and application services

• Strong technical aptitude including excellent troubleshooting and communications skills
