• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• Ability to read technical drawings/procedures and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
• Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment
• Experience with optics alignment will be adventagous
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to resolve technical problems, set up experiments, and perform data analysis.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and people skills are required.
• Comfortable working in shifts and cleanroom environment

We are looking for a Technical Engineer to support our R&D team, compile technical reports, ensure compliance, and provide engineering support for quality and production enhancements.

What you will do

Primary support to R&D team

• Own and execute design transfer to Manufacturing in NPI environment.
• Familiar with Product Life Cycle management
• Keep track of milestones and manage project risks
• Develop and assess Design for Assembly (DFA) considerations for new projects
• Collaborate with production team members to design and evaluate jigs and fixtures for new projects
• Investigation, root causes analysis and propose process/ design improvements to electromechanical devices.

Technical Documentation:

• Compile technical reports from engineering evaluation and troubleshooting
• Create and update assembly work instructions/drawings
• Creates, edits, and maintains necessary documentation ensure compliance with ISO or industry standards & procedures
• Train production personnel new processes and procedures.

Engineering Support to Quality and Production

• Provide mechanical engineering support on ongoing product and process improvements during their manufacturing lifecycle
• Liaise with the cross-functional team to address and resolve quality issues.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related fields
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in Process knowledge of Plastic & Rubber Molding process, Metal fabrication and secondary processes like plating, spray painting and other cosmetic process
• Knowledge in DFMEA and PFMEA
• Experience in product design and understanding of Product Development Cycles
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolve issues related to design, assembly process, mechanical part, PCBA.
• Good organizational and communication skills with key stack holders ( Assy. operators , Technicians, Production leaders, R&D Engineers, Quality engineers, Project Managers etc )
• CAD software like Creo, Solid work, AutoCAD
• Statistical software like Minitab

Position Summary

The position is to administer and manage enterprise SAN storages, NAS storages and SAN switches to support day-to-day storage infrastructure operation, capacity planning, upgrade, technology refresh, EOSL replacement and new business project implementation

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Storage Management and Administration
• Perform Storage administration such as health-check, monitoring, configuration, storage provisioning in SAN and NAS storages
• Creation and update reports, configuration, and performance health check processes and procedures.
• Creation of run-books for work done by L1 & L2 operational teams periodically.
• Assessment of compliance with IT control policies, and creation and on-time execution of remediation plans for gaps identified
• Regular reporting of storage capacity, performance and availability
• Supporting backup infrastructure using NetBackup (Optional)
• Set storage administration processes
• Support day-to-day operation, 24/7 standby & duty-roaster
• Support storage maintenance, break-fixes, firmware upgrade, capacity upgrade, etc.
• Align storage administration with overall strategic IT service direction
• Comply policies, procedures, and controls to ensure storage security

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Diploma in Computer Engineering with 2 years’ experience in Storage technologies and virtualized environment management or
• Degree in Computer Engineering with internship experience/ done school project in automation/scripting/infra-support/programming (perl, ansible, shell scripts, html5, etc)
• Knowledge in hardware, Storage technologies and NetBackup
• Scripting and automation of tasks
• A team player
• Experience of supporting 24x7 operations
• Ability to think out of the box and work independently
• Certifications in Storage management, NetBackup Administration will be an advantage
• Certification in ITIL
• 2 years contract
