Main Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes, take measurements and interpret data including SCADA system operations (in line with company towards digitalization)
• Perform risk assessments
• Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow
• Oversee operations and maintenance of facility processes
• Determine the organization and setup of operations
• Oversee implementation of new processes and procedures
• Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations
• Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve throughput and quality of output
• Manage cost and time constraints
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions
• Involve and perform PSM and Hazop study
• Become turn key manager to plan and execute plant shutdown

Requirement

• At least a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
• Min 1 years of process industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of process related standards, Process Improvement and Safety Management
• Team oriented and dynamic

Job Summary

As a Process / Product Engineer, you will take the lead in driving projects that improve manufacturing processes and product quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including international stakeholders, to implement improvements and ensure the highest standards in capacitor production.

Job Description

• Lead and manage process and product improvement projects in the capacitor manufacturing factory.
• Develop and propose new ideas for process and product development, aimed at improving efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers to execute material improvement initiatives, utilizing metrology knowledge.
• Conduct statistical analysis using tools such as Minitab, Tableau, or other relevant software to evaluate and enhance processes.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and effective completion of improvement projects.
• Utilize design and analysis software (e.g., CAD, CAE) to support product development (advantageous, not required).
• Create and maintain control plans, manufacturing standards, and PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) for new products and process changes.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or above in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in process/product development and improvement within a component manufacturing industry (preferably in electronics or capacitor manufacturing).
• Proficiency in Minitab for statistical analysis and decision-making.
• Basic Mechatronics knowledge to understand and analyze machine functionality.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
• Familiarity with engineering analysis software (e.g., Pro E, Ansys) is an advantage.
• Basic experience with analysis equipment handling (e.g., mechanical property checker, material analysis equipment).
• Willing to be stationed / Travel frequently to Batam.

• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across diverse departments.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment (experience working with teams from Japan, Singapore, Indonesia).
• Strong learning ability and the attitude to tackle challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

· Provide support to customers’ engineers on the development of Dry Etch process

· Develop new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products

· Coordinate design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods

· Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications

· Develop and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment

· automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes

· Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to troubleshoot processes and integration problems

Requirements

· Degree in Chemical/Materials Science Engineering or its equivalent

· At least 2 years of relevant experience in the development of Dry Etch process

· Candidate(s) without experience are welcome to apply.

· A highly motivated individual who works independently with little supervision

· Work in cleanroom environment

· Willing to work overtime.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• General computer knowledge (MS word, excel, power point, MS outlook) is essential
• Willing to travel for site visits, sales presentation to customers and technical clarification meeting.
