Pre-requsites:

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Broad-based, hands on knowledge and experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software
• Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation maintenance issues and complete appropriate documentation

Desired experience for electrical maintenance engineer includes:

• Provide technical support to Maintenance for AC and DC electronic drives, Programmable Logic Controllers, and control systems

• Develop specifications for projects to assure completion of work on schedule with required materials and workmanship
• Assist Production and Maintenance in the start-up and operation of new equipment and facilities

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of technical supervisors on site to ensure that all site activities comply with the regulations and clients’ requirements
• Work closely with the Professional Engineers, regulatory authorities and contractors to provide supervision on site, to resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the projects
• Implement the site supervision quality and safety assurance system
• To carry out all inspection that is under KTP’s submission, Including ERSS, and specialist work that will need his supervision, whenever required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by BCA, Singapore
• Must be an accredited Resident Engineer with IES, Singapore, upon successful hiring
• Fresh graduates / Resident Engineers with other specializations are welcome to apply
• Candidates with HDB experience are an added advantage and strong encouraged to apply

Scope of job:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Service Engineer or similar role (typically 5 years above).

As an Optical Thin Film Engineer, you'll drive design strategies, operational optimization, and client satisfaction. Your responsibilities include optics-focused coating design, process optimization, technical support, and staff training.

Job Description:

· Design optical coatings to meet customers’ and internal specifications.

· Develop and implement coating designs and processes to optimize efficiencies and yields while minimizing costs.

· Optimize chamber configurations for the deposition of optical thin films.

· Provide technical support in maintaining coating operations.

· Maintain documents and records of processes and procedures relevant to design, development, and production.

· Report project status and progress to supervisor regularly and accurately.

· Train production staff in the operation of precision optical coating processes.

Qualifications:

· Minimum Degree in Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related field.

Required Skills & Abilities:

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in optics manufacturing/Solar/Semiconductor/Vacuum industry/ Thin film back ground with at least 1-2 years in optical coating design and production.

· Experience in optical Thin film coatings manufacturing environment is advantageous & preferred

· Knowledge of modern thin film coating production technologies including thermal evaporation, electron beam evaporation, ion-assisted deposition, and magnetron sputtering is preferred.

· Knowledge in Optical Principles, Optical Coatings, Optical Design, Optical Fabrication, Optical Physics, Opto-Mechanical principles, and other technical areas within the Optical Industry is preferred.

· Proficiency in utilizing design software such as TFCalc, Filmstar, Macleod or Optilayer.

· Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently as well as in teams.

· Excellent written and oral presentation and communication skills.
