Job description

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) technicians examine structures,vehicles, and products for flaws and structural weaknesses usingnon-destructive testing techniques. They conduct material tests,interpret the results, and generate reports on their findings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, structural engineering,or a similar field.

Relevant NDT certification.

10+ years' experience as an NDT technician.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing in-depth understanding of project scope and particulars i.e. timeframes, financials, outcomes, plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives, regularly schedule and attend meetings between stakeholders, clients, employees and the Project Manager.

• Maintain records and renew any expired approvals/permits that are required (C&G NCE, Telecom, GTP, LPB LOAs).SP Officers coordination regarding the following schedule of works (ROA Schedules, Reinstatement) for Distribution Projects.
• Coordinating with LTA and NPark officers regarding the ROA queries raised by authorities, and get approval on time.
• Providing support to project managers and operation team when requested.
• Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary, and sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams.
• Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
• Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.

Job Responsibilities

• Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.
• Assist Project Manager in project planning, implementation and to coordinate all construction works on the project site are in accordance to the master and detailed work program.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics/Control Systems Engineering or related disciplines

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. Job Requirements:

Element has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer. In this role you will be an inside seller, responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a defined group of Element clients and prospects.

You will expand business with dormant and existing accounts, provide increased touch points for accounts, and is budget responsible for 200+ growth and retention clients. It will be your responsibility to assure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. In addition to client relations, this role will interact with the broader Element Sales Team, General Manager, and lab/technical personnel. The ideal candidate will be action oriented, customer focused and have an entrepreneurial drive.

Job Duties:

• Establish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts
• Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers, acting as a liaison between the customers and Element
• Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet for Element
• Qualify opportunities with assistance of inbound team / specialists
• Manage relationships and utilize technical support to assist in Sales
• Follow up in a timely manner on quotations for the assigned customer base
• Actively utilize CRM to record activities, ensuring contact details are accurate, duplicates are removed, new information is added and accurate call / visit logs are entered
• Actively participate in regular pipeline reviews, ensuring all CRM records are up to date and critical success factors are identified for key opportunities
• Achieve sales goals by converting and penetrating accounts
• Build and maintain a working knowledge of Element’s service offerings; participate in training/coaching opportunities

Job Requirements:

• Approximately 3 years of Business Development, Sales or Account Management experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as customer quotes / contracts, marketing materials, and customer testing specifications
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and proportions and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
• Ability to solve practical customer problems and interpret a variety of instructions, data and details furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
• A valid driver’s licence, with an acceptable driving record under Element’s policy
• Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements desired
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel)

• Assist in the professional development of novice technicians and engineers within the local laboratory and works on well delineated technical issues including standard and routine analysis
• Carry out crucial examination and implementation of testing concepts and data and able to utilize an assortment of skill, methods, procedures and materials in advanced testing analysis
• Has a clearly demonstrated ability to apply an array of testing techniques in a rational and practical style to help examine issues and build solutions.

Job Requirements:

• Possess a minimum Bachelor Degree of Science or Engineering major and 2 years of relevant working experience in a testing related field
• Possess a high level of expertise related to scope, core theories, concepts, terminologies and boundaries of chosen engineering discipline
• Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply academic knowledge within the context of Element’s business
• In-depth understanding of testing concepts and compiles testing data from the tests performed
